My first talisman was an Agitator 3 Element Exploit 1 with 3 2 slots. I was just melding to test and it gave me something infinitely better than anything else I've ever melded before
1:07 they really gave it the Saiyan Monke grab move lmao...at least it didnt slam you onto the ground multiple times and spits Purple beam at you before throwing you away
What got me was Risen shagaru just being fast and relentless. Talisman: 3 wirebug whisperer 1 evade extend and three 2 slots. Not best for damage but amazing utility
As a player who started their MH career in 4U, having my very first elder dragon be the hardest fight in Sunbreak gives me such joy. My best TU5 Talisman? As a Switch Axe main, I have two stellar ones - an Attack Boost 3, Rapid Morph 2, 2-2-2 and an Attack Boost 3, Agitator 3, 2-2-2.
Oh boy! I sure love getting one shotted by every fucking attack even while using a literal 1000 defense build, especially when the attacks have zero startup!!! Fun fun fun!
I did it first try, without fainting, no followers, but it took me 50+ quests worth of Potions/Max Potions to survive and kill that mf. I had to farcaster and restock like I was doing a goddamn charity feeding program.
Dude that thing is insane it was really sold short in the trailer like to me this is a better update monster that amatsu it finally gave me the challenge I was craving for since iceborne
As a insect glaive main this fight was fun but painful and the funniest part was my gleambeetle always kills this monster’s family tree the chance I send it out,it always a funny running gag.XD

First time I fought this my hunter was stunned as it did its ultimate move, let me tell you in a dark room, if I had a webcam my skin would've turned purple At this point its a small running gag between me and my friend to call this thing Gojo Shagaru, as I was laughing at my own joke repeating "limitless limitless limitless" while Im dying from the funny purple flashbang
I haven't crafted that many TU5 Talismans, but my best one is either: 2 Dragon Conversion + 1 Bloodrite + a 1 slot 2 Rapid Fire Up + 2 Bladescale Hone + 3, 2, and 1 decos
For those having trouble, Shaggy has problems with ankle biters. If you stay under and behind his wing arms, most of his attacks will not land. He will try to counter with the shoulder check, so watch out. I am garbage with CB and made a meme set from a qurio tali, crushed him first try by rolling into him when he was about to attack. You will need at least 2 levels of evade extender and be at his face or closer for it to work though.
I have full Evade Window along with full Evade Extender and a lot of his attacks still hit. Zero Sum Discharge on the Risen Elders is a death sentence. About Risen Shagaru's wing arms, unlike base Gore and Shagaru you have to break his wing arms twice for a free knockdown. With base Gore and Shagaru, you can break either wing arm once for a free knockdown. Not the case with Chaotic, I'm afraid. After breaking his wing arms twice, he just flinches. He really turns up the aggression in his last stand when his energy turns purple and he starts hitting even harder, has less cooldown on his moves and starts moving much faster, thankfully not Risen Shagaru fast. He also starts using his supermove more frequently. Oh, and even if your underneath Risen Shagaru, he's a huge fan of delayed explosions. Like his double wing slam, he leaves a big trail of frenzy bombs that hurt a LOT. I'm not kidding, I've almost been one-shotted because I got cocky and when for his face instead of his wings. So in essence, fuck Risen Shagaru Magala.
i play with lance with guard 5 and guard up 3, chip damage eats 30-40% of my health meanwhile i booted up mhw today, i took MR kulve taroth, even if i stay in its flame spitting i get 0 chip damage and have low stamina consumption.
@@zolozoro58 skill issue lol /j. i'm a gunlance player and take absolutely minimal damage from its attacks. At full health i even survive the grab attack + follow-up + the explosion
I haven’t played the game in a few months and then fought this thing and got my ass kicked, I then was no longer rusty and was gaming while using LS, getting my ass kicked yet again, took me a couple of hours I refused to use followers
Yeah, Risen Shagaru is just plain unfun, and that's coming from someone who has 112 kills on the fucker. Don't you just love it when nearly every goddamn attack is an AoE with barely any startup, hops around across the bloody arena like Rusted Kushala and even its chip damage can slice off 1/8 of your health at 1000+ defense? God help you if you're using Greatsword against this thing.
