We heard most select hotels such as “residence inn, Springhill suites and Towneplace suites” are switching to a new breakfast. Most no longer include proteins , eggs , waffle iron , and a lot more has been removed and replaced with pre-packaged items. Much of which many customers hate. Is this the case with this property?
@@James-yz4cc we have stayed at a few hotels in different states and most have switched to the new breakfast Menu. Marriott also posted about it a few weeks ago. I just want to see if these “special” hotels will follow.
@@jms08905 yeah, indeed a bit underwhelming for my residence inn. We just have sausages and scrambled eggs, and the rest are packaged burritos, cup cake and others. No bacon or other more fancy food
Hi Jaime! I haven't been here recently, but from what I have read in reviews and seen on recent instagram posts from people who have stayed here (April-May of this year) is there are still Mickey Waffles, eggs, meats, potatoes, breads, cereals, fruits etc...and it all looks really fresh and tasty. But regarding other hotels, yeah unfortunately there has been a big change since the start of the pandemic...BUT I do see breakfasts slowly returning to more of what there was before, but it's going to be a slow process to get back to what it was before...mainly I think its a money/staffing/training issue since a lot of hotels are only just starting to see consistent occupancy rates again. Their breakfast buffet was amazing, some of the guests however were NOT. While my son was making mini Mickey pancakes another kid took the chocolate chip spoon for his waffles, put it in his mouth and then stuck it back into the chips and left it there. You expect that sort of thing from little people, but what I didn't expect was his dad to watch the entire thing and just walk away with him. Didn't take the spoon out or alert a staff member, just kept walkin! I think in a self serve situation like that where kids are involved it would be good to have a staff member supervise the area for such 'mishaps'. People be crazy! ;)
😳🤢 🤮 OH MY GOSH I don't know if I'll ever eat from a buffet again!!! Although if I'm honest, with COVID-19 I probably won't for a very long time anyways. Buffets are definitely one thing that will change forever after all this!!!!! That is so disturbing that the dad didn't do anything about it...people be crazy indeed!!!! 😅
@@canadilynne2642 What!?!? They have their buffet opened? Most Marriott hotels I've been too don't and only provide you with a grab and go breakfast bag.
