He had a playoff game won for the Bengals in 2015 but Jeremy Hill fumbled instead of going down and the defense had the biggest meltdown ever in a game. Always be a fan
He has been the best QB in the league so far as far as I am concerned. I will say, he is probably only make no more than like $75k a year give or take vs. At least a tad over $1 million a season being a backup. Thing is though, if he balls out this season in the XFL, it could open some doors for him as a starter in the NFL. And honestly, I am sure that, in the very back of his mind, he is also playing in the XFL to show the NFL that he can be a starter so I would not be surprised if he goes back to the NFL at some point, ESPECIALLY if he plays really well!!!
He just said he wants to play. If he went back to the NFL he would still only be a backup. He's like 32 rn so not much of a future in the NFL. He's an amazing guy though.
I'm assuming he can make this choice because he's been responsible with his money that he doesn't feel pressured to chase the money so he can do whatever he wants if only had played a couple seasons I'm sure he would feel differently
Hopefully the XFL will be able to grow over the years to the point that people WANT to go to the XFL and stay in the XFL instead of the NFL being the end goal
Incredible! True love of the game! That’s a real baller right there. That’s what everybody wants as a kid. Not to win or compete at the “highest” level, but to play, have fun, make memories, and enjoy the game! 🏈
I got out if the army, and moved to just oustide of mobile about the time AJ was balling out in HS. Followed him ever since. Also, 35 miles away, julio jones and DJ fluker were balling out. That was a fun time in bama football.
Hopefully in the future the XFL will be able to become its own thing getting players straight out of college instead of being known as the "NFL rejects" or a stepping stone to get to the NFL
And this is what I’m talking about this is why I don’t like watching the THE NFL ANYMORE BECAUSE ITS ALL ABOUT MONEY ETC AND THIS IS WHY THE NFL MORE LIKE WRESTLING NOW INSTEAD OF REAL LIVE REAL COMPETITIVE SPORTS 😢I UNDERSTAND AJ AND I DONT BLAME YU
Not true at all, I just wanted to win, I wanted to only win I didn’t care for the player of the games that I got or the fourth quarter game winning 3 I’ve hit all I cared about was winning! And not to make it to the pros where it’s not about winning anymore it’s about money and fitting commercials into the games
@@devinhoyt1700 I'm confused, like what is your point..like from what viewpoint are you talking from?a current player,,former player..trolling AJ comments?you tawking about threes in a football thread...you ALL OVER THE PLACE...like WTF are you talking about?you wrote it like your answering a specific question...its all convoluted and ish ARE YOU OKAY is the question bruh
@@lagosfury5142 in the video it states “all players have the same goal and it’s to make it to the pros to make the big bucks” I simply was stating I played cause I liked winning I was a competitive person, still am unfortunately. But my goal wasn’t to make it to the pros my goal was to win every game on the mound or the court or behind center or in the slot or number 2 back where ever it may have been I just wanted us to come out on top when the clock hit zero!
@@devinhoyt1700 bro...how long have you been on SM? Make yourself CLEAR, nobody knows what your talking about because that wasnt the ONLY thing said in the interview You took one point he made..posted the comment like your ANSWERING a thread Just say, well as far as AJ saying "all players" etc etc THEN..make your point When your TEXTING?you have to be alot CLEARER as opposed to face to face
