If they were a shitty band lip syncing to shitty music the crowd would be fired up. It's all media programming. These musicians are extremely talented. They sing and play their own instruments!

You must not realise how many "top artists" of today do the same thing. They have writers who write their songs, sound engineers who make them sound better than they actually are, video production teams who make them look and perform better than they do and so on..

they just expose it, no matter the writting, the only thing that matter is 4 chords, also, it look like a lot more work and creativity than the usual parody or cover we're used to see
