this game doesn't take into account that after a bit the Aztecs would have DEFINETLY started using the steel weapons and armor they were taking off the bodies of their enemies...that is a frightening prospect

i mean if the Zulus did it then so should have the aztecs if given a chance they likely could have at least held out as long as the incas did if they hadnt welcomed them in to there capital like they did in our history.

@@wilmagregg3131 In both cases the overwhelming majority of the "Spanish troops" where enemies of the Aztecs / Inca. In the case of the Inca on top of that, the previously losing faction in the civil war allied with the Spanish. And yes, they used iron weapons very quickly. The Inca already used metal weapons along with stone, the Aztecs used obsidian. Its good to remember that the Inca was 2.5 million km2 empire, while the Aztecs where 1 city + 2 allied cities.

encapsulates perfectly why medieval 2 has never had more people playing it. this game aged like wine and just goes from strength to strength after 15 years. you did a hilarious what-if scenario with the grand campaign in the base game, but to this day, the americas kingdoms expansion was one of my most immersive and engaging total war experiences and it was for all the reasons you showed here. i would come home from school and play as spain in the americas campaign over and over again. felt so unique. it was like a mod before mods even existed.

@@indrickboreale7381 metalurgy was only present in western Mesoamerica, and its uses were very limited. Poor administration and large descentralization maybe have doomed them, but we never know. The conquest of México is a very complex topic, its hard to explain it with simple factors.

I remember in Vanilla I was playing as the Moors and after I finished the campaign objectives I gave away a ton of territory in Europe to the Aztecs. I don’t remember anything happening, like the other factions didn’t interact with them, but I do remember they had stacks of Arquebusiers because they couldn’t spawn their own native troops in Europe.

The Aztecs are actually one of my favorite factions to play as in the game. Despite the lack of cavalry and things like catapults and trebuchets, I love how fast the infantry moves and how you can have them in such large numbers. Using them in human swarm tactics is always fun, and yeah, their ability to demoralize is OP.

On January 12th, 1370 AD at Rome the God's Faithful resolve to resist the onslaught was shattered together with the papal armies and what little resistance remained was sacrificed to the Aztecs ever so thirsty gods. Today, whatever remains free from direct control by the Aztec Empire pays a steep tithe in gold and blood. Some look to the east, trying to gain favor with the muslim heretic tribes, betraying their own god to kill another, others place their hope in the cold winters of the moscowiter realm to deter the hordes from advancing further. Virgin inca: lose to the spanish with a force numbering around ten thousands made out of a majority of untrained conscripts, utterly terrified by the spanish weapons and horses, just numbering 600. Chad aztech: is scared of nothing because he cuts himself everyday, so that the sun rise again the next day. Lost because his vassals allied with the invaders and their major capital was flooded just a couple of years before the spanish arrival.

That's what I love about Total War series (historical ones): you can pick up almost every nation, existing or ever existed, and write your own story. I think, for this developers can be forgiven for some historical inaccuracy or gameplay issues. P.S. By the way, is there are any chances of Empire Total War Expirience videos in the future? Or this game not good enough for the show?

The innacurate thing in this game that aztec stiil using clubs and cotton armor while aztec should actually adapt and start to use metal weapons and armor and horses right after they capture the first eouropean city.

I do plan on making other channels, i think that would be too much though because all past walkthroughs have been done other a period of 2 years and so i don't really remember all the best and good parts. Also that would mean then making more content with all the footage i have already which will in return eat up and hog more Hardrive space. but i do plan on making an extra 2nd and 3rd channel for pilps with other content, don't worry! :)
