the second guitarist ruined it, was not necessary at all! totally compromises their delicate sound, i saw them a couple weeks ago in australia without him and they were great
as much as I love them, man that noise guitarist got annoying man. If he didn't overpower every song by just lowering his guitar to be a background noise, it would've sounded much better.
Who was the second guitarist? Something sounds terrible with the band and I tend to agree with the other folks, the second guitar or lead guitar is awful. That guy should try another instrument.
No one's gonna read this but it's 2020 and I'm reminiscing on concerts I had went to before a bunch of sick humans decided to cancel all concerts. I saw them them a few nights prior to this one at the constellation room- and the mixing on Alex's guitar was a lot better in person than the audio capture from this show. Maybe the mixing was off for this show idk. But his guitar added an interesting fuzzy and trippy layer to the music. That fuzz is the reason I went looking for a video from this tour- that shit was dope.
Can hear them messing around with sounds much much deeped than usual making a song bs. These guys masters at their craft very clearly. Interesting hearing what they make from old songs being messed about with to try find new sounds
