One day on a drive home from school, Gowi sat at the back of his mother's car, holding an abandoned baby. Gowi's mum, a social worker, was taking the child to Mama Ngina Children's Home. This was a defining moment for Gowi as he connected and bonded with the baby. In many ways, it stirred in him the desire to adopt a child of his own.
