It’s this simple Reggie…. When the blade moves faster, it becomes harder for the hair to be fed into the teeth. You have to slow down to allow the hair to fit in. As opposed to a slower blade, where there’s more of an opening for the hair to fit between the blades. Think of it like double Dutch. Where are you more likely to get whacked by the rope when jumping in? When the rope moves fastest. Balding is when power isn’t as important as speed.

Not going to lie, I adjusted my FX3 trimmer for over an hour to get it perfect. Never had anything like it. Literally the perfect trimmer for me. Doesn't hurt, and gives the sharpest lines of any liner i've ever used or seen

My lopro trimmers blade ran super hot after a few minutes of use and that black dlc blade was catchy as hell! Went back immediately (yesterday). I was definitely disappointed. Never had my Andis T-Outliners have either issue.

Just bought the FX3 I adjusted the blade because they would bite right out the box, and they don’t bald out they pull hair on some hair once I adjusted it

It sounds like u r saying the Low-Pros have more Torque & the FX03’s have more horsepower or vise versa. I own the FX3 & you’re 100 correct about the blade. Not sure why they wouldn’t use the blades they have? I love the ergonomics & etc. too. I don’t own the LoPro(yet) however, I tested them at the Midwest Hairshow & they will smack the breaks off some of your favorite trimmers, including the skeleton FX.. I have a pair otw… There’s too much ish to keep up with!! 👍🏾

See, I keep having issues where some clients say it’s great and other say it hurts a little (FX3). I adjust them down so they are not so close and it still hurts some people. I’m a pro at adjust blades since it’s been 18 years of me doing it. I just wonder if it’s the blade itself now.

Been using both of these for a few weeks. They’re both fire! Only reason you should go one way or the other imo is the lo pros can use the og, 2.0 and dlc blade whereas the fx3 can only use the fx3 blade and the lo pros use the same plug as all the other clippers and trimmers whereas the fx3 uses a completely different plug. When the blade is set right they both line and bald out smooth. Lo pros feel better in the hand imo

Cool video, Reggie!! I’ve been cutting my own hair for 15 yrs & bought the FX & the Lo Pro! I’m not impressed w/ the DLC 2.0 blade or the Lo pro trimmer! I put a graphite (fine tooth) blade on the Lo Pro & they still wasn’t giving me that nice line up like the FX w/ graphite! I’m buying the FX3 & will buy the gold fx blade for the Lo pro to see if that will do the trick but the FX skeleton w/ graphite or the gold fx blade is still the best IMO!!

FX-3 They are very sharpe. But for sure after broken in they get to that sweet spot. After using them to bulk out and just a a little soft hand they can become an all day trimmer (until you get to the young ones) hehehehe

I just bought a low pro my box shows it at 4 hours of run time I think they both got 4 hours

I heard Babyliss said they were gonna make charging stands for the Lo Pros (both clipper and trimmer). How long did it take you to get the DLC blade going? I’ve been using it for 3 days now and it’s a rough cut, not smooth at all and it doesn’t leave crisp lines. I’ve zero gapped it like 7 times and still haven’t found a sweet spot

Bruh!!! I don't know if I have faulty Fx3 AND FX.... but the blades don't sit properly and the bottom blade is always going over the still blade. Like there's too much play in there or something..... Have you ever experienced this and found a fix??👀👀

If I have 2 gold fxs that i love lol, are the low pros worth getting?

I don't know what it is but my fx3 seems to snag when I'm clearing bulk under someone's neck. Also, for some reason the idle time is not great as the other babyliss trimmers. Is anyone else have these problems with their fx3? Or, is there something I can do better?

Okay so, I bought the Lo pro's and I love the way they look. I don't think they are comfortable to hold when lining up. They are for balding though because they are shaped like a clipper but I bought them for lineups only. The power switch is difficult to get used to because its on the side. I think I'm going to sell it and get one of the FX skeletons like the Patty Cuts. Good video btw.

You’re my guy for real! I value your opinion…… BUT…. Just like most barbers on RU-vid…. We need to educate ourselves on the technical aspect of these machines. We need to learn te difference between SPM(spins per minute) and RPM(revolutions per minute). There really isn’t a difference but it’s the cause and affect. Why some have a higher SPM than RPM’s on another. It’s crucial to reviewing these machines accurately. It’s pretty simple…. TORQUE!!!! The higher the RPM, the less torque it has, the lower the rpm’s are, the higher the torque is. Just like detachable blade clippers. They have 2500-3500 RPMs but we wouldn’t say they aren’t strong right? Hit me up Reggie, we will really get into this subject whenever you’d like

Babyliss is the best overall brand. Dethroned Wahl for me. If I could only use one make it'd be Babyliss. Not that I don't think there's other companies making good products.

Back it again with another great video 💪🏼 in my personal opinion the LoPro’s are not it. They just feel way weaker compared to the other 2. Feel like if they upgrade the motor on it they will be 1,000x better
