I maintain that it's not that Omega actually has a high M-count, but rather that she's a viable receptor that can maintain the M-count of a donor (Sheev?) with a high M-count.
Even if Omega just has a higher M-count than standard clones, the point is that whatever led to an increase in her replication, whether genetic or environmental, is what Hemlock is looking for.
@@griffinsummoner well not exactly I don’t think. I don’t think her M-count is any higher than a standard clone. I think her DNA is more pure and better suited to accept Midiclorians from an outside sample. Meaning they can splice her genes into a new clone (maybe Snoke) and that would allow them to grow a force-sensitive being.
The biggest difference is that the only modifications were the ones used to make Omega Female. Making her a source for readily accessible STEM cells as an XY chromosomal breeder. That has to be part of the long term research plan.
Omega coming off the lift into a perfect covering fire posture made me disproportionately happy - I love the way they _show_ the Batch are an elite squad rather than just telling us. Off to a great start IMO, if they keep this up it'll seal the show's place as some of _the_ best Star Wars (full stop, not "just" in animation).

Agreed. People like Louise, Kyle Katarn, and Blind Wave give me hope that maybe eventually I'll someday meet friendly local people who are into Star Wars who aren't cynical about it. Even though I sometimes get annoyed by "youth" RU-vidr language in videos, they and a few others are also my remaining hope personified that love and joy still exists in the Star Wars fandom.
I wasn't sure how I felt about Omega when she was first introduced but I love her character so much now. She's seen so many terrible things but she remains kind and loyal. Despite their efforts, they couldn't take that away from her on Tantiss and I'm really looking forward to her reunion with the rest of the squad.
Project Necromancer was referenced in Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 1 - this is Palpy’s failsafe…Darth Plagueis’ knowledge brought to fruition. He has special clones to which his force essence can escape to in case he dies or is killed. This was first conceived in the Dark Force comic series in the mid 1990s (I have a copy of the compendium from my uni days). You wanted to know the “somehow” about Palpatine’s survival in The Rise of Skywalker…this is it.

I don't think Omega has a midichlorian count beyond a normal one. The project seems to revolve around transferring midichlorians from one subject to another with out diluting them. Omega might just have the ability/DNA that makes that possible. Useful if you might be trying to create new bodies for a force user that might have died.
That's my understanding too. They're taking blood samples from clones, and then adding blood from another source with a high m count, to see which clones' blood can retain the m count from the other source without degradation.
My question is, how did Nala Se know that Omega's blood had this "power" from the get-go? Did she know from before on Kamino? If so, what was she doing to gain that info?
@@dr_waffle_house I got the impression there's something unique about Omega (perhaps also Boba) as an unaltered clone, which makes their blood unique in this way, and Nala Se has always known about these unique qualities. Perhaps it's something the Kaminoans already knew about Jango when they started cloning from him.
@taMembrayea, but if u think about it why even take those samples from clones, how are they any different from any ordinary human? If they need that special gene why can't it be found in humans? It's portrayed as only clones can have such gene but this doesn't make any sense. It can be somehow explained that Jango Fett himself had this gene but then how come it happened that he even had that gene if they were looking for a donor which dna can be later used for clone soldiers. Were they looking for a human with such gene back then? All this looks too far-streched.
My guess is that Emerie, like the anonymous clone sniper way back in "The Clone Conspiracy", has been "reconditioned" by Hemlock. It's not the overt control of the Kaminoan biochips, but it seems to be a great deal more subversive and subconscious. If Hemlock's techniques can convince the individual that his is the right and proper and rational course, then they won't be fighting against it the whole time and even an emotional connection -- like that which Emerie appears to have developed to some degree towards Crosshair and Omega -- might be overridden by their devotion to "the greater good".
This episode had me on edge once Nala Se said to flee I just kept expecting Omega was going to get caught. I also like how the blood wheel was acting as a timer, which just added to the suspence. I think the way the pads were being used were just the beginning of the code cylinders the Empire uses later on, I think. You know the Emperor is around when it feels dark and his music starts, but it really would have been hilarious if they did steal Palps shuttle. Omega can now add Batcher to her friends list, Wrecker and Gonk included. See you in the next reaction and May the Force Be With You. 💯💚💚✌️
The best way to stop the Empire from countering Your plan is to not have a plan.... This works for the rebels all the time. Since Omega is a clone without age acceleration and has the XY-chromosome of a female, It makes her an ideal breeder and also a platform for stable M-Count transfer. The "successful" M-count clone previously mentioned had significant reduction, and Project Necromancer is likely the source of Ventress' return since they stated They are honoring and NOT retconning the Dark Disciple novel.
I think what they tested wasn‘t the actual M-Conunt, but rather how good clones can maintain the M-Count of a doner. Palpatine needs bodies that can be vessels for him after his old body died. These bodies shall be clones, so they try to find a clone that who‘s body can handle the M-Count.
I watch without subtitles, and because of Omega's "Kaminoan" accent (ahem) I thought the spacedoggie was called Betcha, as in "you betcha!" You helped me realise it's Batcher, which is cute as all Hell and makes so much more sense.

As he had said that it'll take more time to figure out a solution for Project Necromancer. At least the Emperor understands especially when it comes to science stuff, it takes time to find solutions for a complex problem that requires several tests that may take decades to find. For example, how many tests did it take to just invent a light bulb? Guess what, a +1000 tests (no joke) just for that. No specifics but others say it's even +10,000 tests! It's crazy, all for that.

Love Omega's Billy Crystal City Slickers impression - "HeloooOOOooo!" I still hate Nala Se for what she did to Fives and thinking clones other than Omega were disposable assets.
It struck me when I was watching these episodes that Omega’s story may have taken place months or even years prior to the events in the episodes about Hunter and Wrecker’s search for her. One of the hints that this may be true is the overgrowth on the abandoned base. It takes years for that kind of decay and growth to take place. So it indicates to me that their storylines may not be running parallel to each other. But instead what we are seeing in the case of Omega is what happened months before even years ago. And with Wrecker and Hunter their story is happening in present day. And I don’t think Tech is dead for two reasons: 1. If you don’t see a character die then they didn’t. 2. No one ever really dies in Star Wars.
The way things are going, I don’t think I’m ready to emotionally handle what’s about to happen. I think you all do too…(this is the final season after all)
It’s definitely not Tech imo. I do have a bad feeling he is alive and being used as a puppet for the Empire. As much as I miss him I would rather he stay dead than that. Though it would make a good story despite the overused “no body no death” trope.
The "Believer" Clone like in Season 2, I've heard it was Crosshair not Tech. Nala-Se in Life & Death situations, you need to speak faster than your regular monotoned, slow, speech pattern! Papa Palpatine's back bay bay, again, somehow. No one likes mice/rats, even as droids. Crosshair is acting like he's not in Star Wars, every plan is improvised. Why is there a Manbearpig here? Omega has to do the "Hello" at least once a season; also Batcher is a girl, like Kevin from Up
Why oh why can NO developer actually put some effort into making a FUN and UNIQUE game experience before throwing in the monetization. Look, I'm going to predict how the game will run right now. First building is a "town center" You cant actually build anything there but you need to level it up to level up the rest of your buildings. After building that the game will force you into building houses and a mill that you need to level up too. Once you get to level 3 or 4 itll add the barracks first as your infantry, then archery range for your ranged units, then stable for your cavalry. There will be "heroes" unique to each civilization with skills for over world battles and instanced battles. They will have talent trees to level up small bonuses like 1.5% infantry attack, or 1.5% ranged defense. When you zoom out from your home city, there will be a large map with no actual map design, just a random plane where players are dropped into. On this map there will be "raiders" level 1 - xxx, there will be resource nodes that a squad of units led by hero unit will collect. There will be a building to "heal" units damaged in combat. There will be a "tower" which will be used to "scout" enemy bases and get you "intel" about instanced random events. There will be alliances and you all group up on the map together and build "alliance flags" to expand your territory, eventually everyone will he heading to the center and battle over some building that gives you points. There will be peace shields, you can be raided for resources, there will be a warehouse to protect X amount of resources. No combat will be real time, no actual strategy will be used, theres no build orders. Rise of Empires, Rise of Kingdoms, Whiteout Survival, Clash of Clans, Empire of Fire, Evony, Pirates of the Carribean, Sea of Conquest, Doomsday Last Survival, Lords Mobile, VikinGrad, Age of Origins, Walking Dead, State of Survival, King of Avalon, WestGame, Rise of the Kings, Guns of Glory, there is an ENDLESS AMOUNT of the EXACT SAME GAME.
