one reason for the noobs misjudjment might just be patience i currently have 350 hours on motorfest and i am still learning to gutter so slower player s with less patience dont want to go through all that just just for wins because for example i beleive i am good at the game and it took me what felt like an extremely long timee to get my first win so new players probably just don want to go through all that.
Well grand race is multiplayer, don’t play if you’re too bad of a racer. People don’t realize this is an arcade game , it will always have uniqueness to it. I have always been good at racing games since I was a kid, been playing racing games since I was 4 yrs old, my first ever grand race I was surprised of myself I hit podium second place.
Man I didn’t get my first win until 190hrs played 😂 almost wanted to give up but I told myself one more race and finally won using the electric Mercedes EQ in hyper 😂
Got a few hundreds of hours dumped into this game. Had to learn the hard way how to play and compete at a high skill level. These people are either just not good at the game or are simply coping. You have several people who posted meta guides, several people who put together tune guide for the vast majority of the game. Guttering itself is a form of exploit in a way but anyone can do it making it an even playing field. The devs didn’t intend guttering to be done as the same as they do resets (resets I think are what really lacks any skill at all). Now if we can come up with a way to squander resets and rammers than I’d be happy. Shortcuts are inherently a risk onto themselves and some cuts reduce so little time depending on the car it just doesn’t matter (I laugh when somebody does a cut in alpha gp and they spin out)
It’s funny because I was so shit at guttering and now I’m consistently getting podium just chilling and driving because of practice I’m really good at guttering now because I practiced it and got better noobs complain about anything their not good at🤦🏻♂️
For some reason I feel like the people that are complaining about stuff like guttering, shortcuts, and meta cars have either never played The Crew 2 before and TCM is their first Crew game or they come from other racing games that don't have any of that. I've been playing The Crew franchise since the beta of TC2 and I have never seen anyone complain about meta cars in pvp or shortcuts in the summits.
I get why people don't like meta, it takes choice out of the equation and you feel forced to use a certain car with a certain tune to compete. But getting rid of meta is literally impossible unless all cars would perform exactly the same which would be dumb.
This is an arcade racing game. Not simulator , and every arcade games , doesn’t matter if it’s a racing game , it has its own uniqueness in the game. Take a look at nfs unbound, bad players instead of learning how to use burst nos to its fullest potential ( a game mechanic that makes your car not to lose momentum on the corners while using burst nos ) they instead complain instead of learning which isn’t as hard at all. I’ve been playing both nfs unbound and TCM for 400hrs and love games with unique mechanics, people don’t realize arcade games has always been unique very apart from realism games.
It’s js another case of, Skill Issue, those people dnt really want to learn how to play the game actually, so they call a feature of the game an exploit, js to justify how they’re bad and actually it doesn’t even make sense at all, like i mean, if they have tried to really enjoy and play the game they would know how guttering is inportant in this game Now with that said, we js need to ignore those guys, they’re probalby js some random rammers that are complainig how they’re bad an suck at the game, js by putting they’re fault on us the players that has dedicated some time to the game😂😂
In GR the main thing is to study the tracks, turns and overtaking on the gutters and not to forget about the slipstream and then you will see the result🤙 nice video bro💯
Funny how they complain about guttering, they DNF every race and be like o yeah that's because they gutter, my guy you gain maybe 0,300 every corner if you a pro player, average players maybe gain 0,150s in each gutter and there's maybe like 10 to 15 corners on a GR that you have to gutter the rest you take normal, you maybe lose like max 5 seconds a race if you don't gutter not 50 seconds, and even in Gran Turismo there are tracks where you cut the corner by a mile to gain time without getting a penalty
I'm a console player PS5, I was winning gr's before they even had the direct mode update, but it took quite some time to figure it out once they added it and I've been winning more cause I've got close to 900hrs. I just troll with direct mode mostly now tho cause it's way more fun

Hi, you just have to launch two or three races to see that the NPC also makes gutters. It's in the DNA of the game and I saw it not 2 months ago when I started trying myself by returning to the game and it's not easy, you have to manage little by little, and fail a lot of times to get there, it's really training, try like me and I'm far from the great players and I still miss 1 to 2 out of 3 but I'll get there. ☮😉
i like gutter runs, they're so enjoyable to do, yet they're not so skill-based i.e. you don't need to waste hundreds of times to master them, because they're made that way and even if devs didn't made them that way specially, it's still good thing that raises fun of the game, and in normal games things like this are favored by gamers it's either gamers became so femalazed, or it's just new generation that doesn't want to think at all
My god. All it takes to get good is just play the game and try to understand the game mechanics. I've seen so many complainers in so many games, who for some reason refuse to learn the mechanics and expect to beat the game or be competitive in pvp with their own "rules". Every game is different, folks. Learn the mechanics and use them...
Shortcuts Corner cutting and guttering are kool as that just what it is but when you drive the most op car you see from a RU-vid video and ram and track reset just to lose in the end is where I draw the line lol 700 plus vehicles in motorfest learn the prosettings and drive right
Reset should be patched to throw you at least 20m behind the checkpoint. Nothing worse than being rammed by blasting cars who are about to reset. Sometimes I need to drift into the corner from a bad angle as I know if I gutter I would be wrecked at the impact zone.
Coming from myself who is pretty much top 25 on the leaderboards in every Race in the game ( except Gymkana cause i suck at Skill events ) guttering is a MUST to learn. Its really difficult to get the hand of but if u put the time into it and learn how it works u will cut a good 10 seconds of ur times just by guttering. Also Please learn every maps shortcuts. Combine guttering with the shortcuts, if u was to compare times of someone who plays wide and no shortcuts for example they get 02:30, then guttering and shortcut players get 01:50
Why I remember that the game in 1 of the original playlists tells you about gutters, now about slipstream for me is little annoying, I would like to be different and less powerful
@@DXNK0they don't even need to be removed, just let it have the option to have an automatic clutch, if there is a program it's certainly not difficult for them to add it to the game, just like direct mode
They are really annoying because those skills we didn't have when that game came out year ago. Direct Mode when appeard, players needed to learn it for some weeks, same with wheel on my experience whole month to drive smooth and clean. When i had problems with guttering, i found a solution in wheel steering so now it's way easier for me to use gutters. Look at TC2 or even in FH5 cars are faster in corners when you use gutter. About clutch, it speeds up gears in some old cars that sequential gearbox take 1s to change gear but did they saw how hard is to brake while using that clutch, especially in high speed cars like Strassenversion?? I've also complained about using only META cars from anyone, but now i have skills that will help me in beating some players using that META's while im using random vehicles. It's a matter of skill not cheat. Why they don't complain about double resets that are serious problem? Same with infinite nitro which destroys racing in Summits or some QoL in GR like Ghosted starts so nobody will be blocked by someone who AFK or doing 30s challenge??? Summing up, IT'S SKILLS THAT MATTERS. Nobody will be perfect cause everyone still making mistakes (famous, hard jump in one section) but we playing to learn and improve (unless someone just bought Wreckfest ;) ).
Personal I think guttering should be harder just seems pretty easy and yes I'm not the best at it but I feel like you should loose control easier without enough throttle control the only thing I despise is the reset but not much we can do at the moment about that
Also you can't get rid of noobs and complainers it's actually a sign that the game is healthy, if there wasn't noobs and crybabys it means that the game has too small of a skill gap or its dead
So here is the thing. If this was not intended by the devs to be a thing then technically yes, it is an exploit however I don't see any issues with this at all. This works in a multitude of other racing games including games like Horizon which this also works in and allows you to go much faster around corners because the side of the road kind of holds onto your tires. No idea why people are complaining about such things, same people probably complain about shortcuts when you have 2 checkpoints that are eons apart from one another so you just skip all the curvy roads inbetween because why not, it's faster.
The clutch issue is valid because with clutch the car rev bangs alot less compared to automatic or sequential, some cars especially that suffer from "Grannyshifting™" benefit greatly from it
I have complained a lot about those double reset checkpoints stuff + some expliots with checkpoints! With clips as proof to report IVT. They have responded officially and will be fixed somewhere in the future! But complaining about guttering no way! I like to take some gutter this is the reason why i take corner pretty strong. PRECISION is all i can say if you dont have that you can;t even learn guttering since it is precision movement.💚
Fact is people cannot stand that others are better than them. FFS it's racing. Shortcuts are there and exploits are there to be EXPLOITED. get good fam or just quit 😹

Honestly its a part of the game, but i HOPE that they remove it. I really hope because its so stupid. I also hope the penalize hitting the wall and driving into the grass a lot more

Making grand races a pain in the a... for a couple of weeks after the sale started! Those players should stop crying and complaining about others (with more practice or skills) being faster and learn the damn game with its way it's designed!
