I can't for the life of me imagine cutting up my LV handbag, not that much could be made from it as it's quite small. But seeing you make something beautiful from a bag that was already beautiful to start with is fantastic. Your workmanship is utterly amazing 😊.

Impressive craft there. I’m intrigued about how much better this bag was made. The most valuable material in this new piece is actually the beautiful new leather added. Most of the original material is plastic coated fabric, with LV adding thinner and less leather details to these canvas bags. The hardware is no longer brass, and it lacks compartments. It’s crazy that people pay this much for literally a plastic tote.

This is a masterpiece. It’s a million times better than the first. I would buy it.

I actually made several miniatures for Vuitton ( 1/12 scale ) helping a designer friend. I had great fun working out how to make the miniature golf bag by wetting and molding the leather over a tube, sewing onto one layer then gluing it to another as it wasn't possible to work in such small scale. I covered trunks in leather and made a system for creating the tiny leather handles stretched over wire when wet, formed and dried. I even make two folding beds to go into specific trunks and several miniature umbrellas for another trunk. I then did the irioning board that folded out of another trunk, it was great fun. Vuitton had all the clasps and details made in miniature with the name on them, amazing. I didn't get paid, I did it for the fun. When a second store wanted the same collection I wasn't available to make them sadly.

Je travail dans la maroquinerie de louis Vuitton et sincèrement je n’est jamais vu un sac aussi beau et raffiné. Il est même plus beau que le fameux capucine. Bravo. Ce pendant je trouve qu’il a une petite ressemblance avec le twist . Ce montage et ce système de fermeture avec la bande sur le rabat lui donne un charme exceptionnel.

I have a friend who is a medic and in his free time he does leatherwork and watches and learns from your videos. I am also inspired as I have some heavy sort of 'buffalo' leather in bright Hermes orange that I would like to make into a forever bag. I am slowly making notes and designs and collecting tools. It might be just a one off as my main talent is for sewing and embroidery but I am looking forward to making it. Thank you xx
