They filmed the movie in 10 days, so that's why it was rushed... and ultimately trash. First, how are you going to be accused of murder WITH NO BODY?! Blood and skull fragments, but she is alive and fine? Where was the money for the chemo treatment if the heffa didn't have cancer? If they paid Hydie off, then why is she working as a maid in the DR? And she is Mexican... why is she in the DR? Was Mea even a lawyer ? Because we never saw her lawyering once! The entire movie had more holes than Atlanta streets. They push Tyler Perry's trash movies more than they push any other black directors and that's sad.

Once again, I am grateful for y'all watchin' and tellin' me (us) all about it so I/we don't have to! 😩😫😆😅😂🤣

Joshy was right about the $30k salary, but their season is from April to June/July. My boyfriend is a school counselor throughout the year. No it’s definitely not an amount to have offshore accounts lol, but he’s a University of Washington grad and had and still has a great career! Not comparable to Chick-fil-A lol

Just watching the previews it immediately gave me "Addicted", Temptation-Confessions of a Marriage Counselor" & "Get Out" vibes. Shan Boodram interviewed Kelly & said she kinda felt like the sex scene w/the white lady was suppose to be a threesome, Kelly said yes, it was but it didn't feel right & she wasn't comfortable with it, so they cut it....

This round table about this movie and the commentary provided about what worked and what didn’t make sense is exactly why TP needs other people in the room for his productions. He cannot write, produce, and direct with his tunnel vision as it rarely lands on screen in a digestible manner. I was anticipating this movie because of KR only to be disappointed with the writing half way thru that I didn’t even finish the movie.

Thanks for the cliff notes on Mea Culpa because I was not about to waste my time on watching something that is rushed and doesn’t have a cohesive plot.

When you all did the review for the Dirty D I wasn't going to watch, but I did both seasons and then came back for the recaps. However, I don't think I will be watching this movie. I feel like TP approaches his movies, especially his more dramatic films like stage plays where you have to prepare a script, cast the people, rehearse and prepare for show in 10 days. If he had a different approach then his movies would come off better.

My friend played arena football 15 years ago.... That man still had a full job outside of that because at the time he was getting paid 20k. If that was the only job he had, he would be considered less than poor in my city. Arena football for most is a cute side hustle to supplement an actual paycheck. Legion needs to know that there are people in the world who can find his ss number in 6 mins along with verifying that he is lying about everything. And the way he deflects the actual truth is laughable.
