I like early dance music. This melody from my book looked promising but it was a bit too hollow, lacking character. So I’ve decided to modify it a bit by removing thirds from triads, making them sound more medeival. I also added an improvised backing track, vaguely reminding me the original Diablo soundtrack. I’m really happy that my modest skills now allow me to interpret musical pieces in a way I like, this is the direction I’d love to explore more in the future.
