We must agree how well the actress enacts how Jane has a doll's head instead of hers,, her lack of facial expressions, the movement of the neck.... so spot on!!!
a detail i also noticed in this jane is the bow. i think it's a cool detail because it shows how she actually tied the doll's head to her body with the bow. it reminds me of "the girl with the green ribbon"
@@SonniDez Absolutely, but holy moly would it be so funny to know this is a warning to not record or to call out whoever is recording. Most musicals are against recordings (Besides Studio Cast and even then, that's just audio and uploaded by them themselves), or "slime tutorials" as they're referred to as to avoid copyright.
This is genuinely one of my favourite Jane Doe's by far, I love the playing into the carnival theme with the spinning wheel to make up for the lack of her own sense of self when the illusion of flight is simply not available! It's a shame she wasn't spun more after the first spin, though I fully understand its incredibly difficult to sing in that situation, so it makes sense. Still, even while being spun her vocals were incredible, and even more so when still. Beautiful doll makeup, lovely costume and the eery vibe is done on POINT. Truly spine chilling when she looks into the camera, jagged movements that are somehow uncomfortably smooth at the same time. The almost deadpan stares suddenly switching to pure emotion with such gorgeous and intense vocals. Even the blinking is calculated and uncanny!
When she says "oh saint peter, let me in" she looks almost angry, or accusing even. Most Jane Doe's look desperate or sad, like they're pleading, but this actress (dont know her name) looks like she's demanding it Edit: and when she says "another sad, forgotten tune" she looks almost mocking
Her and Emily Rohm's versions will always be my favorites. All of them are extremely talented but I feel like the two of them are the more accurate versions of Jane Doe
This is one of the best Janes I’ve ever heard! Most of them I feel kind of fall flat vocal technique wise but this one is clearly trained to be singing like this. It’s so GOOD OMG.
