The dude just wakes up some morning and starts thinking "the project is to build a base, make my own music and put some sick verses onto it and make it a video" and proceeds to make this vision a reality in a phenomenal manner. Man, fantastic work as always, years go by but there's one constant and that's you pushing the limits further beyond each time.

So, for the uber-huge literature nerds out there like me, this would technically be trochaic tetrameter, not iambic. In iambs, the stressed beat follows the unstressed, but in a trochee, the stressed beat comes first. Just a touch of trivia for the day!

it is impossible to overstate the effort Zisteau puts into his videos time and time again. I miss the days of frequent uploads, but man does this guy know how to use his time to create something magnificent and worth the wait.

This is why I stay subbed . Every video is a carefully crafted 3 course meal for the brian .

There are two things you can be sure of when Z brings us a video. He put a ridiculous amount of work into it. And without viewing a second of it you know it will be awesome. Other than that, all bets are off. You know, like a box of chocolates.

hmm personally I find this game to be a bit too much. too slow, too cumbersome for lack of a better word. NOT BAD but perhaps just......... like ........ To me it just felt like it took forever to get things going. Everything needs a lot of power and power production is not great. Buildings want resources at fast rates which will require you to either tap a lot of nodes to get the resources or deal with things going slow. If you go big then you need to make sure you got the power to handle it and for that you will have to go out for coal or oil. However you also need that coal for steel and oil for oil products...... IDK I may just be missing a bigger picture and only seeing a fraction of the whole

This is an absolute MASTERPIECE.... But, have you considered adding a simple path? Maybe from the Starter Base to the future MegaBase location. 🤔

Well I didn't know what an *iambic tetrameter* was so I just went down the wikipedia rabbit hole. "iambic tetrameter consists of four metra, each metron being of the form | x - u - |, consisting of a spondee and an iamb, or two iambs". Don't you love it when you ask a question and the answer just brings more questions with it?

There is something oddly poetic about the starter-starter base consuming itself like a machine ouroboros, in much the same way as the rest of the video was intentionally poetic. Writer, musician, builder, gamer. Zisteau is the modern Renaissance Man.

Got to love how you don't know if you're going to have a trppy video, a music video, an almost tutorial on proper factory building or a magnificent mesh of any combination.

I have no idea where zisteau is in his life, but I can't imagine the amount of time and effort that went into this. The amount of cuts and edits, along with creating the lyrics and music and syncing everything together, it's incredible. This video is a nice respite from all of the other videos out there.
