Wow - really interesting that there is a whole forest of bamboo there in Atlanta! Really pretty even though it's invasive. That river looked really serious - I would have thought those people were stuck too. The snake was beautiful! Thanks for sharing!

Here's some thoughts from an old guy whose been around just a bit... That is hands down your best video. Educational component was excellent, interactions were interesting and engaging, and you stayed on point throughout the presentation. Save this one as a model for the "perfect Nick & Rachel" video. The horseplay was great as well. It "looked" like you two were actually having fun being out together which is actually the best part of any of your vids. Good stuff for sure, God bless you both...

Well thank you for the nice compliment! We really try our best to make fun educational videos. We really enjoy making them because we learn a lot as well! Appreciate you watching and commenting as always 🙂 have a good week! We're out exploring the state of Oregon when we get back we'll have a lot of videos to show off! Looking forward to working on them!

Sounds good! It was pretty cool! Rachel was all so we made a last minute decision during the week to go check it out. Wasn't planned at all lol next time we'll hit you up I figured you'd be at work!

Cool guided tour. Until I started watching your videos I wasn’t aware of hiking areas within metro Atlanta. My wife loves young bamboo (she’s from Taiwan) and will cook it up every year when we have a chance to gather some. There are a few patches of it here in Dalton. Also I’m glad you’re a friend to snakes.

We don't do many hikes in Atlanta but every now and then we'll stop in and check them out. This was the first one we've done and probably 3 years. Heard so much about the bamboo forest we figured would stop in and check it out! That's pretty cool! I think I've tried bamboo shoots before wouldn't mind trying it again! I have a pet snake as well! I've always liked them! Almost stepped on a rattlesnake the other day in Oregon 🤣

No way Nick. Are you the Crocodile Hunter playing with snakes. Rachel really got into the explanation with her hand movements. I would not mess around any fruit that can be poisonous. Rachel looked like ghost coning out of a tree. That one shot to the sky with the Bamboo trees around was perfect! Really cool area.

If y'all come to Atlanta you would probably enjoy this one! Its pretty cool! I have a pet corn snake which is just a rat snake as well so I'm not really worried about them lol Appreciate you checking out the video! We're still on the road so I'm just now catching up to comments lol

My sister had some neighbors who planted bamboo in the backyard. She ended up having to have a trench dug along her fence and install a metal barrier to stop it from spreading into her yard.
@NickandRachel
@NickandRachel 3 месяца назад
That is crazy I would never plant bamboo 😂 That's nuts that you got to go that far just to keep it from spreading! Thanks for the comment!

Been before it was pretty cool especially where it's located! Don't see many things like that around Atlanta lol just a harmless black rat snake lol

I remember when I was a kid there was some talk about trying to get rid of the bamboo, but it isn't spreading that fast and there is nothing endangered nearby so they left it. But they were feeling pretty helpless against kudzu so maybe they thought beating the bamboo would be a good substitute.
@NickandRachel
@NickandRachel 3 месяца назад
They're pretty much nothing you can do with kudzu! Well hopefully they leave it alone it seems to be fine. I don't think it's spreading much. Appreciate you stopping by and commenting!

Great Video ...amazing place and very informative.. btw. Why don't you guys make some videos on waterfalls in India ? Coz Budget wise its very economical, (i mean only if you have any plans to visit India.) But, from Subs, views, and revenue stand point I don't recommend coz very few people appreciate and acknowledge Nature and waterfalls ..
@NickandRachel
@NickandRachel 3 месяца назад
I'm up for seeing waterfalls anywhere! It's cool to be monetized and stuff but we don't waste any of our decisions on where we go and what we film on it. Not sure if I'll ever make it to India because there's so many other places we want to see but wouldn't mind it! Appreciate you watching!
