No way we got banana guard before Marceline and PBG as adventure time characters 😭😭😔

My guess is they just threw in banana guard to the launch so a joke character doesn’t take up one of the season spotlight characters but also because they already had a banana guard model it probably saved them a lot of time so they could work on other characters

I thought that it HAD to be Johnny Bravo, but after certain leaks and clues... I definitely think it's Jason now.

I actually think banana guard is kind of genius. A lot of RU-vidrs and people will just play the game only because they hear a side character like “banana guard” is a main character. It’s like a Nigel thornberry or a piranha plant, which multiversus just didn’t have before. Also if the final character is Jason Voorhees I would actually flip.

My guess is Jason voorhees the tone shift from joke character to literal slasher is a night and day jump. It would also be a major hook

I think the last character is gonna be Johnny Bravo he’ll have his karate skills, smooth moves and a representation of the classic Cartoon Network era. Also he was datamined to be in the game from the very beginning just wanted to let everyone know about that one.

I'm not opposed to Banana Guard, I'll probably give him a play. It just feels too early to bust out the joke character. I was hoping we'd get Daffy in the base roster before they showed off the alphabetical CSS but it's most likey too late for that. I'm also going with Johnny Bravo, that's the name I've see the most.

I’d unironically want Jason Vorhees. But it is definitely Johnny Bravo. Which I’m happy with.

Yes I did eat a banana today it was delicious. When I first heard this I was absolutely furious but seeing his gameplay I think it’s fine. I mean he’s cute and funny and that’s all a joke character is meant to be. Would have preferred him to come out post launch instead of a base game character since Multiversus really needs some hype. I’m bummed we didn’t get Daffy and Scooby for launch because I was really hoping for their inclusion and they are both no brainers for the game

Just watch the J character be Johnny Test instead of Johnny Bravo. That would be both cool and a hilarious at the same time

I was thinking Joffrey Baratheon from GoT, Jerry Smith from Rick and Morty, Jasper from Steven Universe, and Johnny Bravo because of the Hanna-Barbera/ Classic Cartoons (ie Looney Toons, Tom & Jerry) representation. I think Jason and John Wick work well when we look at our Warner Bros Movie reps like the gremlin characters, Iron Giant, and LeBron. I only say this because of the representation we have in the game already and it seems like they want to build on that with BG and Joker.

I just Johnny Bravo is probably the most likely, and Jason Voorhees would be the most hype, especially because he would represent an unrepresented genre.

idk why they decided to release him as gaame release launch they should have gone with better wb character any day ...but still i dont mind him as I am really hyped for the game i think game will be fun ....i think it will be charecter noone will play XD... they could have released it in between season u know what i mean

The J character is Jack for Samurai Jack. The director for Multiversus was very interested in Samurai Jack and was binge watching it. He asked what we thought of the show. It wouldn’t be a coincidence that he was seeing feedback. So this very possible.

Play style wise, I’m sure I’ll play him, but marketing wise? This was an awful decision. They need to make big splay on their return

I just wanted Marceline, although I don’t doubt she’ll be here eventually due to her presence in the leaks and Tony asking about what color we wanted her base shirt to be.

I’m kinda glad they’re adding at least one home character, it’s fun and I’m here for it. people will always complain when their character doesn’t get in, even if it’s not joke characters

I've seen a few videos on this topic, but no one brings up John Snow.

I was incredibly mad at first but it has kinda grown on me as a concept like you said simply because when else would they have added him and I think the character is funny

John Constantine could be another one for the J character. as for Banana Guard, I'm not gonna play as him, nor hate on him. the choice makes me a little worried about the choices in the future if they keep adding random characters instead of popular ones, something that was already a problem before. but that's a problem for the future. hopefully, Multiversus will not be in a crisis again, I don't think the game can take another.

I’m kinda sad they used development time for banana guard, it’s not the end of the world but I think it’ll be pretty sour when support for the game inevitably stops and we’re still missing many essential characters.

I’m not against Banana Guard being here, but being BASE ROSTER as a character trying to build excitement for the game is one of the WORST choices Player First Games has made.
