my husband loved them, he was from Louisiana, i have him on video singing this song at our sons karaoke party new years eve 2019, he's an amazing singer, he died in 2021 due to the vaccine. we were married 43 1/2 years. he was my everything, I miss him so much. agree, this is so good, as someone mentioned in the comments I check this video out at least once a month. I found them after Laine Hardy's American Idol audition in 2018.
Now theres a crazy concept 5 talented guys that can actually sing and play instruments (NO MACHINES OR COMPUTERS).It's sad this is almost extinct in music today. Great performance!!!!!
If you think that's extinct, you're looking in the wrong places. Its all over. One of my favs is a Norwegian who sings, plays guitar, bass, banjo, drums, produces, and films his own stuff. He takes songs and makes em metal. If thats not your cup of tea, Steve n seagulls takes metal and turns it into bluegrass. The. Theres always Texas country if you need a little red dirt in your coffee.

I sent this to my Dad who's a long time Bluegrass musician. Their band (Pacifc...ly Bluegrass) had some great harmonies, and I knew he'd appreciate it. But damn right, that dude singing tenor on the harmonies is amazing. I initially heard the album version of this on Pandora but then found this performance. A new favorite band, for sure.

This is what I would call modern outlaw country. Im more of a rock guy. I love shinedown, rise against, avenged sevenfold and stuff like that but I can’t get enough of this type of music.
I was making a playlist of epic hardcore Country music on spotify and this was one of the songs recommended by spotify to add to it. Needless to say, I'm damn glad I added it.
I've never heard of this band, but heard Laine Hardy sing this on American Idol. Now I'm a convert! Can't wait to download this album and hear all their songs.

I hear almost all music genders like rock, dubstep, some heavy metal, and this. I believe this is country type music. This is just great music to have when driving
I absolutely fell in love with Band of Heathens. My 6 year old grandson turned me on to this song singing it with a microphone. I had never heard of them and went home and pulled up their music. Been listening to them every since!
Been on of my favorite groups for a long time, I love the folksy songs, and especially the ones that have a Louisiana undertone, they might be from Texas but they give it the Louisiana feeling, take that from a Louisiana girl through and throught
Great song, beautifully played. The voices are top, guitars simple but with great Ideas and feeling. Great slide solo. I like the organ solo that reminds me to the Doors , Bass and drums are great in rhythm section. In the late 70s they would have become a world known top band, I hope they can get it now too.

Wow-so glad I found this song-bluesy-soul -heard while pumping gas-dude playing it in his truck -had dreads down to his -knees-had on a Reggae hat-Ernie Ball sticker on the side of the truck- asked him who it was-so glad I did-Thanks man! A friend printed me out two sheets of music paper while out jamming... One was Simple Man by Lynard Skynard and Hurricane by Band of Heathens witch I never heard of Band of Heathens before He said you can sing both of them so I took the sheet music home just a couple weeks ago and like you said your abcessed with this Band I have listened to there You Tube Videos so much because I feel the pressure is on me now because New Years Eve bringing my guitar over and going to play Both song's "Wish me Luck" 😕😂

I was coming from a job in Lake Charles LA back home to Charlotte NC through New Orleans across Lake Pontchartrain at 3 am 4 years ago and heard this song for the first time on the radio and been a huge fan ever since. l am amazed at the power of this song, huge IMO
