about a girl 0:00 come as you are 4:08 jesus don’t want me for a sunbeam 8:17 the man who sold the world 12:32 penny royal tea 16:23 dumb 19:51 polly 22:34 on a plain 26:27 something in the way 30:13 plateau 34:19 oh me 37:54 lake of fire 41:04 all apologies 44:54 where did you sleep last night? 50:24
This is crazy. I was skeptical from the very start, I figured "will they even replicate Kurt's Martin D-18E's sound?". Yeah, they did. And it was great. They captured the atmosphere, the sound engineering was spot on, the chelo, the pacing. . . The vocals were spot on, I'm in Canada and I'd honestly pay to come out and see these guys. Wow, if you grew up past the time of Nirvana and you wanted to capture a glimpse of what it was like that night back in 1993 then this is the way to do it. This is really giving something to the world as weird as it is to say it like that. This was so cool to watch, thank you for posting this.
This is honestly the most surprising and beautiful tribute of Nirvana I have seen. The vocalist is phenomenal as is the rest of the band. The mix and atmosphere created here is impressive. This deserves to go viral.
masterful performance the last three songs I put my high-fidelity headphones on at full volume and play I almost burst my ears but I don't care I assure you that they were the most musically rewarding minutes in a long time thanks for such a spectacular work guys to the vocalist you have a wonderful amazing voice
I really love this tribute because you can tell they're keeping kurts memory alive and not trying to be a copycat , jus trying to recapture the performance of mtv unplugged . And it sounded great the whole band did really good!
I am from Brazil. I grew to love nirvana skateboarding alone listening to, breed, dumb, polly. others more towards the radical side. more street style! Today I'm a musician and I rush it too much. Your voice is very good, an absurd quality from the band. release a little more vocal drive and the level will be impeccable. It's not even a criticism, it's a compliment, you're incredible man, I became a fan to the point of listening to you every morning until the end of the video. Don't stop until you become famous! Brazil loves Nirvana, they just don't know you that much. invest in Brazilians and you will be acclaimed. ❤
I love how according to the RU-vid auto generated chapters, about a girl is called “I do,” Polly is called “take a ride,” and where did you sleep last night is “my girl” lol
Thank you much for this tribute..you made us happy nirvana fans and your now my fav rock artist....kurt bless you with his spirit ..your such talented..sending ❤to your band from philippines
Cara, eu tinha 24 anos, sabia tocar e cantar todas as músicas na sequencia e sei o tanto que vocês capricharam e replicar todos os detalhes. Ficou sensacional, perfeito. Abraços do Brasil! Man, I was 24 years old, I knew how to play and sing all the songs in sequence and I know how much you have worked hard and replicate all the details. It was sensational, perfect. Hugs from Brazil!
This is probably the first Nirvana Tribute I've found on RU-vid that doesn't make me feel uncomfortable. Usually when someone tries to imitate Nirvana, they overplay and exaggerate a lot. Not only do they try to imitate Kurt, but they overdo it. And when singing, they often change the vocal melody and pull parts of the words wrong. But there is no exaggerated imitation in this video. Here, indeed, all the participants have made a respectful effort to learn the original instrument and vocal parts. No one is showing off or overplaying. Even in the song The man who sold the world the guitar sound is picked up pretty close to the original Mtv Unplugged sound. Thank you for respecting Nirvana. I gave you a thumbs up.
I just want to say I was the first to watch this video when it first came out like a month ago I want to say thank you for making this replica it's so beautiful
I’m so grateful I came across this video. Such talent - every band member. This seriously brought tears to my eyes and a flood of memories and emotions from my childhood. Those in the crowd should know how lucky they are to have seen you guys in person. Beautifully done you guys.
I still remember the when the original first aired watching it at 13 .. was actually 2 days after my 13th birthday. They were my favorite band than and still my favorite band now. Can’t believe it was close to the end for Kurt
Man, this is awesome ! It's the best tribute to the MTV Unplugged album I've ever seen. Loved seeing skilled people like you replicate the sound of the whole thing. Thank you for covering my favorite album from Nirvana. Much love !
yea I honestly didn't like Nirvana until I seen the unplugged gig , when everyone has an acoustic guitar you can hear, honestly don't know what im trying to say here . I guess I've just always been a flat top guitar kind of guy, dont get me wrong I like to plug in sometimes just dont see the need in it really, may be my bluegrass background to not sure how I got into the grunge thing really. was all around my 1st time using LSD to . I never could get Ralph Stanley to drop acid , I did try .
I am hopeful that this band will tour on the world wide stage...Nick Deegan as Kurt is that brillant..he captures the true soul of the departed genius...when will this be available on Spotify...
Thanks for helping keep the timeless dream called Nirvana still alive. The music, memories and lingering emotions will most certainly last more than a lifetime, an eternal legacy always destined never to fade away. May future generations also be as honored as we were to appreciate the music, attitude and so much more that still lives on to this day.
Wow! you guys are the first "Nirvana" tribute band that i am glad to say lol YOU ALL DID A DAM GOOD JOB, SERIOUSLY and it really felt like a rewind in time to the moment kurt said "FUCK YALL" before they did the last song. I enjoyed the show a BIG THANKS GUYS AN GAL
I thought nirvana, bcuz my eyes is not see clear, but i wear my eye glass, ooh my God,99.percentyour voice is like my idol,🙏thank you very much my friend and God bless ur group, kurdt is watch ur tribute and he is very very happy,👍🏽
Wow, you guys are superb. Your cover of a cover of Jesus dont want me for a sunbeam is amazing. Loved it all to be honest. And you got so many intricate details spot on like The instruments, Clothes and your drummers Dave Grohl ponytail wig 😆. So glad i came across this 👏
Very good show. Very good band ... sounds really close to the real thing, the costumes too and takes me back to that night watching this on MTV. It still sends chills down my spine when I think about it and not even knowing then what came next.... every time I hear this concert I cry. Kurt was so scared. It was a very intimate setting so he was scared he would mess up I think and he had to bear his soul and he did I believe this night. Nobody will ever be Kurt or be like Kurt. He was an artist. He was beautiful. He was the best.
How incredible, I came back when I was a teenager. Great times, I love Nirvana, you made me enter the time capsule to 1993. Thank you very much, I send you my hug from Brazil and you have gained a subscriber as well as a fan. Keep up the great work and success guys, the world still needs Nirvana songs. 👏🏻🤘🏻
Do Brasil...
