I know man, other shows are like “oh yeah, you should be able to swap an AWD twin turbo LS drivetrain into your 1950 GMC in 3 days in your home garage,” meanwhile they have a two post lift, a plasma cutter, mig, tig, and stick welders, a CNC machine, presses, sheet metal brakes, a team of dudes, and a $50,000 pile o’ parts on a pallet on the floor. Definitely, super relatable. It’s super easy, all you have to do is order everything out of a catalog, gee why didn’t I think of that? I can’t even watch that kind of garbage anymore, I just end up getting pissed when the parts theyre throwing out in the dumpster are better than what I’m working with lol.

Hopefully a real guy does things right the first time, checking bolt tightness, breaking in a clutch etc. The real guy cant afford to pull the engine and do things right the second or third time (much less put two or three clutches in it). These guys are great but if a real guy is following their lead they will pay for it.

I love all the Roadkill shows and have been watching them for years. My only issue is the guys have no respect for their machines. They have too much money at their disposal and really do not know what to do with it. I know a lot of people who would give their left nut to have access to a few of their parts, and Freiburger and Dulcich destroy so much it's really a shame. I'd love an LS for my TJ project, but unfortunately, it's out of my price range. Maybe I can get a freebie from these guys as they seem to destroy and rebuild on a whim.

Sorry but "break in a clutch"? A bit older here but mid 60s into 70s I can't remember how many Schiefer clutches I installed and break in was usually the time it took to back the car out of the shop. No idea how many got backed to the edge of the parking lot (about 200' across) and was christened with a 4,000-5,000 rpm side step the pedal... Biggest problem is that diaphragm PP. Ford use Long style & top loader rail shifting for a reason. Only weakness was the Z bar frame mount when PP# was really increased. From what I see listed today the B&B would be a better choice with a hydraulic throw-out bearing. WHY was there NO LUBRICANT when the bottom of the T&C case dropped free??? Was that a 2.78 small input T&C? Something really fishy with this episode.. Nothing on WHAT NEW rear springs that now support the car. Not even close to "stock" leaf configuration. What new front springs were installed & even a small safety chain in the front coils would allow them to be removed without the fire wrench. Ya wanna do burnouts - just bolt on a set of 6.50x14 tires.. My 65 HiPo Cyclone would spin them for a 100 yards... fun but stupid. 1967 Cougars built by Bud Moore for both Dan Gurney & Parnelli Jones were contenders for the Trans Am championship.. Mustang won the race so champ points Ford 64 Merc 62....
