She should have did what daemon suggested in season 1 which was taking kingslanding by force with all their dragons. Jace and Luke and bala could have tagged team Aegon and his dragon. One or maybe two would die but Aegon and his dragon would have as well. Then Daemon, Rhaneys ,and Rhaenyra could have tag teamed aemond and granny V.

Hugh standing up to Vermithor and holding his ground while screaming COME ON will never not give me chills. Hugh is the most worthy dragon rider of all of them. Like Addam he was a lowborn bastard who worked hard his whole life to earn a good life. But sadly he also knows the pain of losing a child, and he wants, no NEEDS to know that all of this pain and suffering throughout his life wasn’t for nothing. And it lead him straight to the Bronze Fury!

Silverwing is the most docile and friendly dragon even to strangers. The lover/mate of vermithor. 😍 Just like Queen Alysanne and King Jahaerys I are the old riders, and were married as well. I believe thats daemons and viserys grand parents. The old king in episode 1 season 1. Silverwing is also syrax’s mother.

Of course you can't control a dragon. They're proud and mighty beasts, gods in their own right. But only Targaryens, or those with Valyrian blood, can ride a dragon. Those beasts will bond with them, but they'll never do something they don't want to, or feel absolutely necessary to do.

I loved how you could notice the tension and held the breath throughout the dragons scene, I would say no one spoke or made the slightest noise for several minutes. One of the best episodes of fantastic content in the entire series including GOT. Congratulations on such a good recording and editing

@@Sway22 yes, we knew it was going to be them. but the payoff of them doing it after following their hard lives for so long was worth it. i actually didnt know hugh was a targaryen bastard and ulf never really crossed my mind much as being an important character until now. id rather this outcome than writers subverting expectations and giving the dragons to 2 randos.

I didn't realize until after the episode that the Silverwing did NOT have a saddle beforehand which means that Rhaenyra purposefully sent Ulf and Silverwing to bait Aemond out for an ambush! Very clever!

@@GLitiatc0 he has seen real battle. He actually flew alongside Vhagar and Caraxes and ended the fourth dornish war. Jaehaerys with his two sons Aemon and Baelon destroyed the dornish fleet led by Prince Morion Martell. It was called the War of a Hundred Candles.

@@user-ff6dl9zr7uSeasmoke and Caraxes have a better chance. Both have seen battles, (well, Seasmoke in at least one big one), and Seasmoke is pretty fast. He’d be the “bait,” while Caraxes can use his noodle neck to his advantage. It’s why Daemon wanted Rhaenys’s help with Vhagar. When Meleys was alive, she was the fastest dragon.
