I’m kinda wondering why it doesn’t connect to the windshield to block the rain ? Nice looking I.O. Ya have there . 25 motors to work on ? Man your slacking ! Lol. Im down to 4 left to work on ! Keep your eyes open for the puck system that the Bail-o-matic used , I have 1 and I need 4 more for my outboards ! Also a 1958 Johnson tiller grip , I could use 2 . Also a 1967 or 8 Evinrude Fastwin 18hp hood . Is there something your looking for like coils or points or o-rings or fuel pumps ? Let me know !

I have a 1976 Johnson 15hp that only had spark in one cylinder. Both the coils work fine so I adjusted the points and now both cylinders don’t have spark. What do I do?? Anything helps.

Great Videos ? I have a Evinrude 10 hp sportwin it has the Pressure gas tank do you happen to know the size that it takes for the fuel line Keep the videos coming

Hey. I’ve enjoyed watching your OMC engine videos. I have an OMC 3.8L V6 project that’s got me stumped which isn’t hard to do (I don’t have much experience with engines) and was wondering if I could get some help? Throttle up to 2k RPM is fine but more throttle it bogs down tach shows 1200-1500 RPM. It does this on muffs and water. I can send details if your interested. Thanks!

@@Michaelsbackyardmarina I bypassed the pump and filter with a hand pump primer bulb hose from tank to carb. I throttled it up and pumped the bulb but RPMs didn't change (still in the 1200 to 1500 range). Is that a good test? I did notice the bulb was getting deflated, which I now that I think about it may mean it trying to pull more gas than is supplied through the bulb. Maybe that means something farther up the fuel line is restricted? On another note, compression is in 105-115 range for cylinders. Is that too low?

@@walkrock4 is it hard to keep it idling and you get a sneeze pop ? When it’s running spray some WD-40 or fogging oil under the flywheel if it reves up it’s a crankshaft seal and if not it sounds like a fuel pump or bad hose .
