For the bottom of the garage door, buy some vinyl floor runner, cut into strips wide enough to cover open space, and can secure into then door. The vinyl will allow it to be flexible as you open doors to the outside, will flex against the ground

@@FarpointFarms Always nice when it comes out a little cheaper. Anyway, I'm always glad when I can finish something myself (DIY), even if it is over budget at least we don't pay the cost of labor. The cost of hiring specialists for different auto or home projects has become astronomical.

Man! You've done a great job on converting the old barn to a shop! I think repurposing some left over sheet meatal roofing material for a skirt on the old doors will last far longer than cardboard. I'd be willing to bet that the neighbor that donated the plexiglass window has some that would work. ;-)

I do have some metal scraps that I think I can use. It is flashing from a different project. My neighbor is a great place to look for something that I might need.

The TV and LEDs might produce RFI for the SW, but clipping the SW antenna to the metal roof might produce some surprising results.

I think you are correct- the whole building is metal so I am sure that I can get something. It is kinda in a valley on the property so I have my fingers crossed

That a great shop ! My small engine work has changed a lot over the years. Most of my work is electric now. and generators due to increasing grid downs. I am in NY . a lot of lawn care stuff put in storage for winter and many put the battery with that as well. So with the cold batteries go bad very often. With so many different ones ,I just can't keep them on hand.

I can see how you do more electric now, I like to say batteries don't like the cold and bring them in for the winter. It does help some.

Holy cow! It's an OG fan!!! Yup it really feels like it. Same color, nearly the same size. I even talked with my wife about naming it that, but she said to leave the past in the past. It was just yesterday though wasn't it? Glad to hear from a fan of the first RU-vid Channel for sure. That young guy has long been gone, but he sure had a lot of fun back in the day!

I put my compressor into an insulated closet. Really deadens the sound. I don't use it much, but when I do, it is quiet.

Nice. I think YT is messing up. I don't see my previous comment where I mentioned you can get a portable AC unit (scratch and dent) for under $200. I think maybe they're blocking the comment because I'm naming a different website. But it starts with a W, has 2 Os and ends with a T.

We did spray foam for the ceiling- It did not take too long to do and well worth it. It was about $400 for it all. If I had know it was that easy, I would have done it long ago
