I love the idea of Grian walking up with an entire barrel, and the only thing you see when you look inside the barrel is a piece of paper at the very bottom.

Grian seemingly being genuienly mortified about him wanting to give mumbo the mending book for a second was exactly how i imagined this playing out good job!

The horse was the main actor of all of this

Grian's mustache: Impressive looking but superficial and easily tossed aside so even the few moments where he's wearing it Grian is drawn with a mouth. Mumbo's mustache: An iconic and inherent personality trait. So Mumbo is drawn without a mouth. The mustache has consumed it long ago.

The IRL cut with Grian pushing back from the desk was GOLD, 4:35 perfect screen lmao

OMG THIS IS LIKE MY FAVOURITE ANIMATIC- okayyy- I love Grian's design, he looks both like the old guy by the sea, and the little boy by the sea xD the frame of when Grian says he and the ocean are close is perfect lol- his wide-eyed wonder by the shifting tides. Mumbo's expressions fit SO well JEEZ THE HORSE WALKS xD Grian fishing the bag of goodies was awesome lol little Grian pretty much BEGGING Mumbo to accept his deal so he can be done with the negotiation stress, and then Mumbo just puts him aside, and then Grian's expression as he tries to walk away. I always knew Mumbo was the guy from monopoly. *mumbopoly, I mean -mumbo transition- ooo the transition from minecraft to irl is PEAK, I love that. and then Grian's reaction when Mumbo said he was just messing with him- yeah I imagine he thought smth along those lines LOL and then yup, the horse eats the barrel, should've expected that. even the outro- a little guy appears out of steam and takes your hot drink? how dare you little guy, Bayleaf deserves all the hot drinks ever for working on this :D

The funny thing is that walking away actually is what got him a better deal, it was just the time he was actually walking away that did it!

I totally thought that this animatic was going to have the song “The Other Side” from The Greatest Showman, but it would be Mumbo and Grain bargaining.

Awesome! Now it needs a part 2 where Mumbo is basically paying Grian to take the prismarine. Grian’s initial walk away didn’t make the deal work because he wasn’t committed, but once he actually walked out, he got everything he wanted and then some. I guess google was right after all!
