I always thought none of the passenger elevators would go below the first floor. I never went down to that basement. I thought all of these passenger ones would begin on 1 because the glass elevators had the bottoms of their shafts right below the 1st floor. This means that only the internal elevators go down to the -1st floor & the glass ones do not.
@@TechNerdNolan Actually it does say 8, if you look where floor 8 is on the buttons and floor "B" it also says 8. In a way the letter 8 (especially on digital clocks) looks like a B.
Dream Big Productions The Fire panels are usually locked like these ones were. I basically opened them using my elevator keys but was unable to close them. If you go to the Marriott today, the panels will still likely be opened.
Jamestube 8439 The fire cabinet requires either a Yale 1620 Key(which is what I used) or the 2642 key. Because the 1620 key cannot be found anywhere on eBay, I ordered a blank “Y1” key and cut the key by hand. It is possible to find the 2642 key on eBay but you can usually find it on ultimatesecuritydevices.com
Please do not attempt to use fire service elevator keys without any permission. Any suspicious activity will be reported to building managements and negative consequences will be inevitable.
EshaDeDoge RU-vid There actually isn’t a code. You could type -1 on the keypad but it would show XX and say “Unable to allocate car at this time.” The service elevators already serve this floor unlike 49 so it wouldn’t make a lot of sense to allow the passenger elevators to go down to the basement while on floor 49 it makes more sense since the service elevators do not serve that floor. The 46th floor does the same thing as the basement.
@@crackedphone9314 from what I know the “55th” floor doesn’t actually exist, but 55 is a secret code to get to the 49th floor. Basically 49 is the “55th” floor

But briefly around 2019-2020, they probably must have ran out of PORT panels at the moment aswell with few technical issues with Handicap mode button on the PORT panel that does nothing so they also added the modified newer gen Miconic 10/ID keypads with silver buttons alongside with the PORT panels before eventually replacing those with PORT one aswell.
I was actually the one who opened the cabinets on cars P, N, and M. I remember closing the one on Car P however on Car M, my key got stuck in the cylinder and I did not want to risk losing it trying to close the cabinet after successfully removing the key.
Blarg I used the Yale 1620 key. I also never knew there was a 3502 key. I doubt that the 3502 key will work even though it fits into the cylinder but maybe the 2642 might work.
The 3205 may be for an other sate, possibly NJ. I saw it in a list of keys for elevators. I'll have to get one and take my own trip down to -1 sometime. But honestly the internal elevators scare the shit out of me, every time I've been there someone says, don't ride car [X], which always ends up being one of them.
Blarg I wonder why the internal elevators scare you so much? Isn’t car X a service elevator? I wonder if someone states not to use it, there must be something wrong there. I guess the staff are trying to stop some people from riding the service elevators. ;)
