First of all, Congratulations! (on your pregnancy) Praying for you and the baby! Secondly, THANK you for all of this information, especially as I live in Texas. I am a brand-new beekeeper and your videos are and EXCELLENT resource.! Well staged and great topics. Aloha!!!
Aloha and Kia Orana to you from Rarotonga Cook Islands .interesting I must check if we have such laws for honey sales.i know one needs a food licence to sell cook and prepared food ie smalltime at markets. For honey will need to check. We are also blessed that we dont have any disease here.no v mites or AFB .we do have wax moth. We are directly south of hawaii and the same distance from the equator. So we are heading into Autumn .
Wow. This is a really great topic to go on! I'd been wondering about this. I had been thinking about the unfairness of expecting people to rent a chef's level top expensive kitchen just for something that you can reasonably do at home with training. But I hadn't yet found out the work around. Until your video. I don't believe people should be held hostage by money law dominance. And I didn't want to rent a kitchen using up everything I'd worked for and getting nothing. Its already an uphill battle even without unnecessary expenses. Thanks very much. Curious if your talking to bee club etc will have a broadcast or later posted recording? Hope to hear more from you. You often cover topics no one else is.
I know! It can be so discouraging getting started selling honey. I didn't know about these laws at first either. Working for a bigger farm I only knew about their certified kitchen and I also knew a farm who paid for access to someone's certified kitchen but never used it. It was as a backup in case anyone ever asked where they did their harvesting.
