The Aiki Dojo 2 Minute Technique - The Basics of Katatori Menuchi
Ken Watanabe Sensei, Aikido 6th Dan, Iaido 5th Dan outlines the basics of katatori menuchi (肩取り面打ち) or “shoulder grab and face strike.” Katatori menuchi is an advanced level attack because one has to be able to negotiate two different attacks at once.
