That plague was seriously harrowing. Like the number of people it kills. Those aren't just like men in army it's actual characters. Over 5000 landed/unlanded characters dead. Yikes. But other then that someone called Talion ended up at the wall. Which reminds of me of Talion from the shadow or mordor games

I actually don’t know how to do the manual installs. My PC specs are pretty limited, so i do a lot of my mods with Steam Workshop and mod managers like Vortex

I've never played the AGoT mod, the renaming of your dynasty, does that happen automatically, or did you click a decision for it to happen? It seems to have occurred exactly as your heir was born. But I can't tell if that was automatic or something specific you did.

It does happen automatically. If you start the game as an unlegitimized bastard of a major house, as soon as your first child is born, you start your own bastard cadet branch. The game also allows you to customize your house sigil and name after that

Bastards that have kids automatically get a new randomly generated house in both vanilla CK2 and vanilla CK3. CK3 and the AGOT mod consider them cadet branches of the main dynasty as well. AGOT also have additional flavor so that the randomly generated names for houses have a thematic similarity with the main one (lion them for Lanisters, Valyrian names for Targs, etc.) Manually renaming your house is a vanilla CK3 feature

@@ghirahimlefabuleux8984 in vanilla, your House name does not get renamed when your heir is born. He had a house name, then he had his heir born, and the house name changed. The mechanics for this is what I was asking about.

A Reyne and Lannister. My father was Tion Lannister, Tywins Uncle. My mother is Lord Roger Reyne’s sister

I did. This one is a “canonical plague”. Its a separate setting for The Great Spring Sickness which i guess was a real thing in the ASOIAF lore. I didnt know so i left

Its not a mod, just a trait. Its the House Customizer trait. With that you can start the game playing as an extinct house or an existing house. Paired with the Bastard trait (not Landed Bastard), you can start a bastard branch of a great house once your firstborn child is born.

Traits. You need Bastard and House Customizer. A prompt will pop up as soon as you start the game asking if you want to play as an existing house or and extinct house, then go to someone’s portrait and select “join their house” and itll give you options like “play as their brother, father, sibling, child, etc.”

I think it was an accident while editing. Basically my kid was being mean to some poor unfortunate soul, so i taught him to be more compassionate to our people
