Give him a chance, he was only in 1 scene. Technically 2 but that was rly just a cameo. He hasn't had the screentime to shine and personally, I believe he could one of the best Joker's.

If they use this Joker, I prefer this role for him. That sort of behind the scenes, menancing threat like Hannibal. Not the big bad of the movie. I would like to see Mr. Freeze, Court of Owls. I would even like to see him as a secondary villain with Hugo Strange in an Arkham Asylum style movie.
I'd like to see Harvey Dent take over as DA in the 2nd movie and become 2 face at the end, so that him, the riddler, and Joker can all team up for the end of the trilogy.
Batman is the face of absolute order Joker is the face of pure chaos They took this scene out because everyone knows that when The Joker appears then all eyes are on him and no one else(The Riddler would've been an afterthought) if they kept this scene in the film and for good reason. Bruh Joker had so much gravitas in this, even more than Batman. Every line of dialogue had me hooked, every movement, every twitch just left me wanting more. Awesome stuff
I kinda wish they threw this scene in the movie instead of the other one but it’s still good though. I hope they show the Joker some more in the sequel but not making him the main antagonist. Like I want him to be the main antagonist in the 3rd or maybe 4th film.

Ehh I mean, he reads Batman and Riddler pretty well in a pretty short time Pretty charismatic too I'd say, but the looks might give a different impression I guess
I think they aren't that simillar as most trying to say. The way this Joker acting is more patient one, he doesn't trying to get all the attention on himself with odd drama(probably, because he had no plans on Batman yet), that's why his laugh, his chit-chat feels somehow different from Heath's one.
Disagree if matt reeves didn't want this version of joker in his trilogy he would have not put joker in at all, the fact joker was in this says it all, nothing about him being unsure

Your already setting yourself up by comparing this Joker to Heath’s. Yes yes we all know that Heath is legendary but it kinda ruins every other joker if your just comparing every single one to heath. It’s always nice to have a bit of change in the joker
So when Bruce Wayne needs a new gadgets and tech he goes after Lucius, when he needs console he goes after Alfred, when he needs clue he goes after Gordon now when he needs to know what villains plan he goes after joker’s perspective which is great !
I still think they should use Mr. Freeze or Dr. Hugo Strange in the sequel. Have Joker escape using and killing Riddler as a result of Batman’s distraction. Have the theme of the second movie be “night” so in a third and final film, he was “vengeance, the night, and the Batman”.
The way this joker looks really shows off how much damage he's taken from batman hence why he looks like a rotten plum that's been stepped on and stabbed
I just went to see it again last week Sunday with my brother for his birthday 🎂🎉. I think it'll do well box office wise besides it's a fun movie really like the rainy, dirty and dingey Gotham City look that the director has because it's LITERALLY FROM THE COMICS. Robert Pattinson was an awesome Batman/Bruce Wayne showing how psychologically compromised he is proving that he is a very good actor despite Twilight BS. I think people are forgetting that Batman is a crazy depressed and borderline nutcase sociopathic individual just one bad day away from commiting the same crimes as criminals he puts away. This joker feels like it respects the character and was truly trying to be it's own thing while honoring the original. Personal opinion animated series joker is my favorite but the character in general is one of my most beloved fantasy characters and I very much enjoyed this approach on the character. Would've much preferred this scene in the final product over the one we got. Though I enjoyed the performances in that as well. Joker and Riddler laughing together reminds of the Adam west batman movie with the "Make those messages clear" scene and I loved it.
Reeves has gone on record and said that this is a prototype joker, so hopefully he shapes up a little bit without taking away the spark Barry Keoghan has.

Correction: Joker's first line about fragrant is wrong. He says "Hm. Present." Because later he mentions that the "first anniversary [gift] is papers," and says "What makes you think I come so cheap?" as in the "anniversary" gift, acting as a bribe when it is infact, just "papers." "Fragrant" doesn't make any sense in the context given but "present" does as he's referring to it as a gift.
I am glad that matt reeves deleted this scene from movie with this scene audience's attention would have shifted to joker we know everybody loves joker 🃏 and so did matt reeves he wanted to make a pure batman detective movie with only one main antagonist (riddler) and wanted to explore the character because i think joker is definitely gonna be in the batman 2
this movie already had a dark tone of realism. the final fight with armed shooters targeting innocent civilians made me feel uneasy since how easily it could be reenacted in real life. Then with this Joker appears, mutilated and angry. Broken and happy. Its so strange and off-putting. Hes gonna be a great Joker.
Now that's the joker I know. The other jokers weren't bad. They were good, in my opinion. They just didn't feel like the joker. Don't get me wrong, heath ledgers joker was good, but he just didn't feel like the Joker. It's more like a regular psycho master mind criminal you would see on a lot of movies. But not the joker.

The difference between MARVEL and DC is,.. MARVEL is the brand behind their films but in DC the director is the brand behind their films... Which makes it feel like A movie rather than a MARVEL movie..Zack Snyder, Mat Reeves, Nolan, James won, percy jakson etc... Make us Feel like their own movie, cinematography, action etc.... Rather than making us feel MARVEL movie, MARVEL'S stunds etc.... Which feels odd in comparison.
I leave my comment for the more than fifteen hundred people and for those who saw the deleted scene from the movie. Obviously WARNER's management saw this scene and had it deleted, because they didn't want to have any losses with the movie, any more than they had with another movie. But now that the scene is on and many are seeing it, one part is loving it and the other part is hating it. When you show the eyes and then the disfigured mouth it will really shock a lot of people, I think.

@@SoldierBoyTheGoat Not the youngest Batman. Christian Bale was 29 years old when Batman Begins was shot. Pattinson is 35. But if you are talking about the in-movie Batman, Pattinson's Batman is confirmed to be 30 years old in Year 2. Bale's Batman was 29 years old when he started in the movie.
