Batman is dark, gritty, and very long. I enjoyed this different take on the iconic character quite a bit. The music was one of the biggest highlights of the film. Michael Giacchino's score is so dense, dreadful and yet beautifully melancholic. And it translates so very nicely to the piano.

[Spoilers] Beautifully said as at the beginning of the movie, the japanese man said "Please, Dont hurt me" then at the end of the movie, Batman is seen guiding survivors towards safety in the mass flooding

it’s written to be a combination of Batman’s theme and Bruce Wayne’s theme with the dark, menacing and powerful sound at the beginning and the end shown that Bruce Wayne is surrounded by the legend he’s created, whilst in the middle of the composition it shows a more hopeful yet tragic sound to show that Bruce Wayne still heavily deals with the death of his parents but continues to try and give back and help the city, even if its in ways that the city can not recognize him as. the entire composition in itself tells a story, it tells the origins of not only Batman but Bruce Wayne. it’s beautifully written and shows that music can tell a story even with no lyrics.

Sorry for being sorta late with this cover. I'm absolutely in love with this theme but somehow it took me a really long time to come up with an arrangement that made me happy. Thoughts on the film? I think this is the best Batman yet. Yes, even The Dark Knight doesn't quite reach it.

I think dark knight surpasses this film in certain aspects. If we saw more raw dialogue with the riddler and Batman it could’ve reached Heath ledger joker levels but for now I’d say it’s overall second best. Still an amazing film and I think the 2nd film has an insane amount of potential for robert Pattinson to really show his full acting range.

One of my favorite parts of some superheroes and vigilantes is the way they can seem like folktales, like, Batman as a name is intimidating as it is, but you can tell he’s a superhero or vigilante, but just adding a “the” in the name makes him seem like a monster, “The Batman” it’s like the Loch Ness Monster, The Wendigo, The Chupacabra, he’s a myth, and when you see him he’s even scarier than the stories

The Nolan main theme made you feel like a badass, I'd often listen to it coming home from work in the dark so I wouldn't be afraid. This theme has moments where it feels like YOU are the bad guy being CHASED by the badass, if I listened to it coming home like I did I'd probably be so damn terrified xD

It was written to be a character flaw, at the same time that he learns that he has to be a symbol of hope rather than just being Vengeance as Batman, he has to learn to be Bruce Wayne too, he was written to be thi grungy emo guy hiding away in the abandoned subway station below his house, working on his car with Nirvana on full blast, despite Alfred's pleas to come up to the surface and maintain his family's legacy simply because he hasn't learned to be both yet, I'm assuming that, in the sequel, he uses his influence as Bruce Wayne to help as well as being batman in light of his epiphany that he needs to also needs to be a symbol of hope for the city in order to make a real difference

was falling asleep at the end but piano piece woke me up as it reminded me of.....me. I play a baby grand with out any real lessons or piano theory and it reminded me of the darkness. pretty sure it creeps the neighbors out.

And this is just the 1st movie. I think this trilogy has the potential to be better than the Nolan trilogy. The dark knight carries that trilogy. Batman Begins was ok but tdkr really isn’t that good

Yea dark knight takes it due to heath ledger's joker. Visually the batman was better and i really liked pattinson as batman. Exceeded my expectations by a lot and definitely beats Christianbale imo. Music is very different but unique and great too. Couldnt really decide on which is better. Hans zimmers work for the dark knight e.g. the joker theme and stuff is just great. Overall this movie was a lot better than batman begins and the dark knight rises. Just the joker as villain keeps dark knight above this one on my list. Really curious for the next movies though. These really got the potential to beat the dark knight. They really just need to keep the quality of this one and dont fail the joker. Whicj is gonna be the hardest part. Heath ledger gonna be a big hurdle to take

I rewatched dark knight the other night and I hate too say it but I was kinda disappointed honestly I think the Batman is the best Cbm movie of all time tdk falls closely 2nd place tho

It almost sounds like there's a feeling of emptiness in the song, like if Bruce had been doing all of this crime fighting and "saving the city" but yet doesn't know he's doing it right, or if it's worth his time.
