My favorite reaction so far. To the punches - I love how that maybe 3-4 would have done it but he grabbed onto the arm to give more and more rage into the dude. And then 2 extra when he was down to really seal in the fear. Love it.

It's almost poetic that right after the trailer ended, there was pin drop silence and you could hear sirens in the background. It's almost as if Batman was there.

That siren sounding off in the background at the end as the two of ya soaked in the afterglow ... you couldn't have written that any better. That I'm vengeance line ... that's a reference back to the animated series that was used in the Arkham Knight game as well; "I'm vengeance, I'm the night, I'm Batman"

This is by far the best reaction and I have been watching them since this trailer was released. It's genuine and really heartfelt because you guys reacted, in the same way, I did when Batman showed up at the crime scene as we remember him and the fight scene was the nail in the coffin with a topping of Riddler in the background talking. Absolutely one of the most amazing trailers I have ever seen.

Aside from Batman finally being a detective, my favorite thing about this trailer is that it feels grounded in reality, but also like a comic book. Which is the problem I had with the Nolan trilogy. It was too grounded that characters like Bane and Scarecrow didn't fit to me. The Joker worked because he's essentially chaos, he doesn't have a specific schtick like the other villains. He's more groundable than the other rogues in Batman's gallery because unfortunately, terrorism is a real thing and sadly relatable. This feels like if they want, they could introduce a Mr. Freeze or Poison Ivy or even Clayface and it would work. This feels like Batman and Gotham and slightly strange which is what I've always wanted.

I can’t be more exited for this, some of my friends said that his bruise Wayne doesn’t look that good but I just think this is EXACTLY what we need out of a batman film. The grit, the brutality, that’s just batman and we haven’t really had it done a lot of times

Your reaction was the same to mine. When he said "I am vengeance", I got all teared up. I was sold the minute they cast Paul Dano as the Riddler since it's my favorite villain and I knew he'd bring something special to the role but I was in no way prepared for this. 10/5 indeed!

Finally. Finally. Finally. A detective story. Batman year 2. Exploration of the corruption in Gotham. Batman getting into fights in the room full of Feds. Exploration of the history of the Wayne Family. Gotham city just like any other city. "I'm vengeance". On so many levels...this trailer alone, and for a film that is only 25% complete at the moment, it captures pretty much everything that DC batman fans desired. And I don't believe I'm saying this, but from this trailer alone...it is more grounded than Nolan's Dark Knight. That's how amazing this teaser trailer alone is.

I definitely wasn't sold when I heard Twilight Pattinson was going to be bats. Now, I know he is Battinson, and this is definitely the Batman we have wanted, and needed. No super awesome teched out vehicles, and gear that were created in a DARPA lab, or at CERN. Just a straightforward dark gritty suspense filled year one, or year two Batman that relies on his intellect, and his rage to get shit done, including that pretty beefy looking old school Mustang with the nitrous jet on the back. Detective Batman is in full swing, and I am completely sold. DC just flexed Marvel right on over to the corner of the room with this one. 💯

Lol yep, that was my reaction too. The “I’m vengeance” was freaking perfect! Not “I’m Batman”, no no, it was “I’m vengeance”. It’s the whole “I am vengeance, I am the night, I am Batman” omg it’s fantastic. Plus his voice...can we just appreciate that he very much sounds like Batman, but not in a forced, overly gravely or deep voice. Ugh!!!! I need this movie to come out now!

We are seeing Batman Year Two where Bruce is still consumed by his rage at the cesspool that Gotham has become, however, he is working with Detective Jim Gordon to solve crimes in spite of the corrupt Police Chief. And we even get to see Oswald Cobblepott portrayed by Collin Farrel in a couple of beats.

At first I was a little hesitant about them casting Robert Pattinson as Batman but after seeing this trailer I'm definitely looking forward to this movie! The suit looks sooo good, imo way better than affleck's batsuit, it's going for a nice dark tone, which suits Batman, and like you said it's focusing a good bit on the detective aspect of the character not just the superhero part which is what I think BvS and Justice league did wrong was focusing too much on him being a superhero and not as much a detective

I give this a 10/10 because the other 10 goes to Matt Reeves for taking this more into the Detective work that I been wanting to see as well on the screen then more crime fighting all the time,I mean I do want to see the ass kicking in this first one but not all the time because there will be 2 more films after this one if anyone didn't kown that,Oh when this version was being made it's suppose to take place during The Long Halloween story,Also in the next 2 films we might finally get a younger Robin and I believe we will.
