Yo! Let's kick off 2024 with a bang!
This video is a little different from my typical style, but I had a blast taking a bit of a deeper look into one of my favorite films. I've got a couple other video ideas kicking around up here so who knows what's coming up next.

Came across your channel via the Seven Deadly Sins dissection. Subbed accordingly. Keep it up. I super appreciate it when a creator is able to make jokes in their video essays without screeching incessantly or otherwise detracting from the points they're trying to make.

I loved this movie, the fact that it was a surprise origin story for Batman become a hero was excellent, by that I mean from vigilante to hero which is kinda what really matters.

I thought this video was hating on the Batman character now I get it. The ending of the movie makes me cry and it’s weird because I have seen sadder movies but it makes me cry.

I don’t care no one says this movie is awful, it doesn’t feel like Batman anymore and I’m not looking forward to it. 👎🏽Sorry and not sorry, like the video though^^

Well I'm glad you liked the video at least! Sorry that this version of Batman isn't up your alley, which ones do you prefer? Or was there a specific thing in the film that turned you off of it?

@@KnightlyReviews Good question, here are few reasons: the plot sucks, the villains are mid, fight scenes *ZZZZZZZZZZZZ* ( what else could I say), nothing wrong with the voice acting, I’m glad they didn’t ruined Batman’s voice because otherwise I’ll be like: *Sad Music* 🥺what have they done to my boy…? And don’t you get me started on that ending, I’m honestly prefer to watch The LEGO Batman Movie is an only best animated film out there, *garbage live action movie* glad to see everyone who’s enjoy it and those who aren’t, you’re not alone^^

The difference between Joe Shmoe and Bruce is that Bruce is not only the smartest human also knows every form of marital arts etc he’s a super human now none of this is confirmed in this movie but going off old Batman’s that’s the difference

I totally get your point, but until it's confirmed in this verse I don't think it makes much of a difference (plus I don't think it'd fit in as well with the series)

@@KnightlyReviews yea tbh I agree this seems like more of a realistic world like even the Batmobile in this verse is just a car so if they don’t make Batman like a super human in this then your point is valid and will leave a big mark on this series

it was trash the character of the Riddler was a chess genius and hated the batman and knew he was bruce wayne for out shining him, secondly batman is atonement personified dawning bat-clad armor to atoned silently for his families misdeeds, 3rd this batman isn't trained enough you see him hit a bus FFS batman is trained in combat and tactical mindset while being able to improv with his tech at his side thanks to his genius, finally the shoe horned white privilege comment is false as all hell no one ever wants to acknowledge the fox family in Gotham the acting CEO of Wayne enterprises. The only redeeming quality of this movie was more detective side of batman vs straight fighting.

Hey dude, dunno if you know this but the movie takes place during his second year of being Batman so he's inexperienced (and also the riddler didn't know Bruce's identity, he was mad that the billionaire orphan got all the attention while the real orphans who were struggling were left behind)

@@KnightlyReviews wrong all the way through, batman trained for years with raz who practically beat it into him not just combat and several versions of the riddler knew it was Bruce but didn't say anything becuase he thought everyone else already knew (a prime example of his own arrogance)

@@dudeguyrockfan i mean yeah, you're right if we're talking about one of the comic variants or maybe the dark knight trilogy, but in this particular one he was still inexperienced and I think it adds to the story. He even says it in his opening monologue ("two years of nights has blah blah blah") If it ain't for you it ain't for you but he literally hasn't been trained (unless the writers said he was in some random interview/article I missed somewhere)
