It’s soooo good. Saw it Tuesday and will be seeing it again tonight, Saturday and Sunday. I can’t wait to actually talk about details of it lol. That Batmobile scene… our seats literally shook. I took a car enthusiast to the fan event on Tuesday and he was amazed by it. Can’t wait to see that again!!!
I’m gonna have to watch it again bc I fell asleep ,my friend had to wake me up twice 😅😵 not bc the movie was boring but it’s so long and there’s a lot of talking plus 80% of the movie is night and when it was day my eyes would hurt like a mf bc your eye gets used to the dark. so I’m gonna have to watch it again 😵😭
Saw it yesterday and it was phenomenal. The ending felt a little lackluster though; it feels as though Reeves decided to take a bit of a safer route instead of delving fully into the themes and mood that had been building for majority of the movie. Maybe that'll change with a rewatch though. Catwoman's thing about "rich white men", though technically correct within the context of the movie, made my eyes roll into the back of my head. The first 2/3rds of the film were absolutely perfect though and there isn't a single thing I'd change about that portion
I think its likely going in that direction however I do not expect to see Mr freeze ras al ghul or killer croc. I think this nolan trilogy with animated series and arkham elements.
I understand why Kevin Conroy said ben affleck is his favorite live action batman. In some ways I tend to agree in others I do not. But I think Matt reeves will make a version that fans actually asked for.
Paul dano’s riddler is my favorite interpretation of riddler ever, in every adaptation, comics, games, shows I always found him as a mildly interesting C lister, Paul’s riddler took the best aspects of the character and changed it for the better, I never thought I’d be such a big riddler fan lol. And when it comes to Robert Pattinsons Batman, I knew he was gonna be great, but not THIS great. He’s my definitive Batman now, I remember you posting tik toks ab why not having white eyes was better and I disagreed but man was I wrong, the emotion he displayed just through his eyes were amazing. And when the suit was first shown I was not a fan at all but now I love it, i esp hated the cowl but I think it’s dope af now. This movie was amazing
I'm seeing the movie tonight and I'm so excited. I love Batman comics and the reviews on this movie has been so great. I also usually kinda hate the live action DC movies but they do decent with Batman usually. I'm so excited.
9/10 for me as well, Im watching it again on Friday then Sunday but I saw it on the 2nd and I still have a lot of questions so I’m assume the book has the answers
7/10 The actual Batman scenes were great, setting was great, and I loved Jeffery Wrights Jim Gordon. But I felt that it lacked something. The riddler was kinda cringe to me. The trailers hyped him up to be a very frightening, and creepy character. I heard a few people laughing when he was on the screen. He didn’t give off a creepy vibe at all. Almost had the demeanor of an angry child. Dudes supposed to be modeled after the zodiac killer. And that soundtrack… there was never a rising moment to me, everything always felt very flat lined. No big build ups, you kinda knew what was gonna happen before it did. Never a gasping moment. The scene where the riddler mailed Bruce the bomb intended for him but instead was opened by Alfred was such a pointless scene. No one died… so kinda pointless. You already knew Alfred wasn’t goin to die, so yeah felt very unnecessary. I could comment more but it’s late. And I’m tired after sitting through a mildly underwhelming 3 hour movie.
@@eliseogutierrez5307 well Harry Potter movies are actually fire, and anyone can have there own opinions. Just giving mine. I liked the movie I said 7/10 that’s pretty good if you ask me. But like I said it missed something. Felt very rushed in the last three quarters of the movie. Like they were trying to tie off all the casts story’s all at once. Made it hard to focus on one thing. But Batman himself totally bad ass,
I mean this movie its really crafted objectively. Great cinematography, good plot nice fight scenes. How much likeable/enjoyable it's an onother matter since its subjective
You're wrong on "There's definitely room for super powered ... heroes to show up". No, there isn't, Matt Reeves specifically wanted to made it that way too.
I don’t know if I watched the same movie but I’d say it’s subpar, I’d give it the reward of the best dc movie but I wouldn’t say it the best movie, The plot started off good, but it was all over the place, almost awkwardly strung together, very confusing plot and terrible flow, definitely some cool parts but over all it was terribly stretched out. Just my opinion
