When Elsie Has Trouble With Pigeons in her Atic and Suzie gose up for a look but ends up Sticking her foot threw The Ogdens Celine All Hell Breaks Loose Between Elsie and Hilda Enjoyyyyy x
i was abroad for many many years, was so disappointed to see the modern corrie wid modern houses , the rest of tv is disappointing too, funny adverts gone, i stopped watching tv altogether, when my mum died , i gave all televisions away and do not regret it one bit
Elsie tanner wakeing up at 5 in the morning in bed in full make I bet it wasn't the first time That said she was an attractive woman for a life long smoker Good complexion no wrinkles 👍
I stopped watching around 2004, too, or whenever it was that Steve and Becky were at it. Don't miss it, but I do miss the days when the show was actually enjoyable and well-written.
Last year I had a bunch of pigeons living in the roof of my flat, when the blokes came to get rid of the birds one of the workmen lost his footing and his leg came through my bedroom ceiling. I was in bed at the time, fortunately he fell through a different area of the room or I'd have been covered in pigeon 💩 and who knows what else. 😳🤮 Got it fixed for free and compensation so can't complain too much but getting flashbacks watching this! 😂❤🐦 Also, is it me or does anyone else think that Frank Skinner could be Hilda's son? They look remarkably similar imho. Either way, hope everyone reading this is having a lovely week. All the best! ❤
@Fatima502 it's a pity we haven't had real battleaxes in a long time. Evelyn is sharp-tongued but generally nice, whereas Hilda and Blanche were real shrews.
@@kaysmith8992 The problem as I see it is that they have diluted the show with too many episodes a week. With two there was breathing space to build up and maintain characters like Hildas and Elsies. Now they all get burnt up, literally.
The exterior set featured in your thumbnail is incorrect - it didn't exist until 1982 - but, apart from that, I loved this story. A classic Corrie tale of neighbours at war!
@@johnrider5701 what's missing is these battleaxes. You don't get good battleaxes on Corrie anymore. The older women like Gail and Sally and Jenny are portrayed more like dizzy airheads now.
Ah, the great myth of the patriarchy! Load of hateful feminist ideology, that. Janice Fiamengo studied feminism right back to its origins and it's horrifyingly bigoted, misandrist and narcissistic.
