I recommend you to use either roe cat or swordsman cat for shyboy. And also you need a cat that outranges master.a or just use polevaulter cat for them. For rain.d at the start rush it as fast as possible and spawn hard hitters to not let it keep knocking back because rain.d's kb is HUGE. And rush shyboy with swimmer cat (recommended for him) before master.a arrives and also star ocean and apple bobbing ocean. You need to get area attackers to kill the horde of peons (you can use nymph cat or polevaultercat). And good luck! [Your one step closer to ururun cat!]
I appreciate the advice! Unfortunately, I saw this only after beating the stage so I didn't apply it. 1. The rain.d at the start is irrelevant for the expected progression. 2. I used witch cat for the shy boy instead, turns out witch is actually well suited for early game red enemies (my feeling when courier exists) 3. Master.A has very low damage, and can be isolated after removing all the rain.d enemies. Overall, that stage is nothing when you know what's in it and prepare a bit, but I do really appreciate your assistance.
My other account is in the post game, slowly finishing starred UL. And witch cat becomes irrelevant the moment you get any normal anti red cat - courier / roe / crazed fish / icat. Even for early game, pirate can pull off similar strats to witch.
Try getting cyborg she is really good helped me alot and still helps in 4 star chapters because kinda of damage if you have surfer cat try get the true form too
You are completely correct, I will get cyborg when I will finally have to (every stage I beat using paris is a stage decimated by cyborg), and seafarer is a super rare, so I will use it only after ITF3.
