As a german who served in the Bundeswehr I need to say this. First it's awesome! You really showed how we would wait in cover for our enemy to get close and then let the trap work. BUT!!! A tank platoon like this would most likely have some AAs with them. For obvious reason. Also Leopard crews are trained go get into cover when being shot at. We would dig out several shootingspots where we can reposition our tank so the enemy never gets a clear line of sight. Fire, back up, reposition

I like how in this serious in the long term Russia always has the advanrage. We may get some traps but all in all Russia wins 99% of Engagements. BC of Mighty russian Air. I dunno maybe seeing actual Air defense in strategic traps would be nice. We saw one AA piece and that was a stinger the whole time.

Practically we have never seen a war movie based in a modern warfare, in which we could see other armies except American or Russian army. We have never seen the modern German army in a movie. Nor French, nor Polish, nor Spanish, and many more. That's why I love making machinimas and that's why I say that this is an actual art. Because we can see very different things that we will never see from a Hollywood movie. We would never see a rifle squad equipped with different variants of G36 rifles, in a battle scene. We would never see a MG3 or a MG4 machine gun element covering an attacking squad or some specific defensive positions. We will never see Leopard2 tanks and IFV Pumas in action. The moment I saw the covered smoothbore cannons of the Leopard 2, GHOST DIVISION immediately went through my head. And I have to say that as a German I liked it very much, even if most of my compatriots today would howl about such a video and see it as a glorification of war. By the way, this was excellent work, a real work of art! Subsequent note: At this point I just wanted to say again that I am not one of those people who claim that this is a glorification. Just to be sure.

I wasn't cowering in the corner paralysed obviously, but it all leaves a lasting lingering impact because of how well made these are and how they show you how gritty war on that scale is in the end. I have no idea how I only see this now, but I'm blown away. This is amazing. Breathtaking. Literally mouth open in awe at times. I used to play OFP back in the day and could only dream of producing something like this. The work you've put into this project is just outstanding... And this is the first one I see! @@savx3220 As an active Bundeswehr soldier I can tell you that you can never just go by the numbers. It‘s about quality and quantity. Where russia has more vehicles, ours are more effectkve and our soldiers better trained. I‘m sure without the help of the Nato or the EU it wouldn‘t take long until Berlin has fallen in such a scenario, but it‘s because we focus more on quality, especially when it is about tanks is battleships. I don‘t know how people in other non-EU countries think about us, but since the beginning of the war in the Ukraine, and since we got a new Verteidigungsminkster, I believe our military is on a good way

@@NOMAD2409 It got nixed from the Budget by a German government as it was too expensive and the Gepards being gifted to Ukraine without a replacement system in place. As for the Air Force, well that got neutered by a few more governments cashing in on the "Peace Dividend" and "Flinten-Uschi" von der Leyen and her predecessors not buying enough replacement parts, because those cost money! Well the good thing is, she might ruin the EU faster than the Bundeswehr, and we could finally get back to working how we Europeans can get along again. the west only gets fed filtered propaganda to inflate their egos. in truth everyone with a brain and rational logical thinking knew what really happened in ukraine. some westerners know but get censored. russia wad deliberately avoiding as much civilian casualties as possible which results in more casualties for russia. unlike the Nato countries. thats why every pro ukraine idiot didnt understand russia's moral approach to war. then western nato propaganda tried to hide the ukrainian nazis. the truth is mostly out now. its unfortunate that ukraine is grabbing random people and relaxing its requirements for draft. they are literally killing their own to buy time and fake success stories to get more aid.

and in reality, most foreigners fighting for ukraine were nato mercenaries. basically fighting nato. and nato got owned, and still getting owned. idiots kept donating all their ammo and tanks to ukraine just for them to get blown up. no nato country can match russias manufacturing output, not even their artillery shells. how many times did we all hear " russia is running out of missiles" ? all fake news from zelenskey the clown. or when ukraine claims to have shot down 30 missiles when russia only launched half the amount .... they never shot down the hypersonic missile either. patriot is a joke. that was more lies. too many gullible idiots. germeny cant even get a mech battalion ready until 2027, they announced it.

Excellent series as always been watching since the first vids. One thing i think would be interesting too add in this series is the element of PMC groups since mercenary armies are beginning too appear more in major areas of conflict in modern wars. (IE the middle East, Ukraine) and would be interesting too see.

Everyone wants to be a Soldier until DSHK or 50 Cal bullets come your way. Next thing you know your partner is hit and you see his guts and brain matter all over the floor. Heavy Artillery comes crashing down on your position and you have dig a fox tunnel because in the live moment it's really intense

No, he doesn´t. This scenario is completely unrealistic. The Russians would not be able to land, because of German AA and Radar. That ambush on beginning is spot on, Germans are expert on ambush tactics, they got it from WWII, They also designed their tanks to do exactly that. It is really brutal and deadly tactics, and it can leave a nasty surprise for those invaders.

Strange. What kind of idiot would place so much military equipment in one place. And there is not a single combat drone here. Today they don’t fight like that. Military equipment leaves cover to fire at a machine gun point. And he leaves without even turning the turret in the direction where the shot was planned to be fired. This is just an incredible fairy tale. Nobody fights with World War II tactics. Today it's drones. And the military equipment, having fired several shots, immediately leaves this place and camouflages itself. This is how they fight today.

The high angle firing from the german SPG's is as accurate as it gets when firing from inside an urban zone. Love seeing artillery represented in here. (even though they keep getting destroyed by cruise missiles xp)

What an absolutely impressive project man. On the topic of representing military environments and exchanges that rarely get press, I just wanna throw out that it would be insanely cool to see some, like, Algeria vs. France or Indonesia vs. Australia shit; there are some countries out there with fairly large and fairly modern militaries, preparing for entire strategic realities that Western/American audiences rarely consider. Absolutely astounding work, whatever you consider the next step to be. Whatever cinematographer is getting that level of intensity out of in-engine footage should be really, really fucking proud of themselves.

This is a super amazing real life battlefield simulation video amazing job. But I just have 2 simple notes (I’m not an expert btw) 1-The German leopards would have maneuvered and enveloped the Russian BTGs 2-The German Air Force (Luftwafa) has a good number of EF-2000s T2 and Tornado GR-4,ECRs it’d been epic if they engaged the Russian helos and bombers. Flawless War Gamer has returned to bless us once again with his amazing machina series. FWG, I been watching this World War 3 Arma III series since last year and I honestly really love this series. I like the amount of detail and effort you put into this. In every episode, this really do explains the truth of war: it’s brutal, a lot of people die, a lot of homes get destroyed and in the end, there’s really nothing to earn out of it. Your work, sir, is absolutely a masterpiece. Your work also inspires more people to create both machina and 3D art and animation as well. I even became inspired from this to make 3D art of stories like this and other genres and games. You sir, are a blessing to machina and 3D art. I give this series a 100/10: it’s a really great series
