One of the best, most informative, accurate, professional presentations on not only the Battle of Fallen Timbers, but NW territory history!! Excellent. Every historical should watch!

My 4th great uncle Col (then Captain) Richard "Shawtunte" Sparks was a scout for St Claire, as well as General Anthony Wayne. Sparks was taken by the Shawnee in a raid in South Western Pennsylvania, from the vicinity of his Parent's cabin in 1760 at the age of 3 and was adopted and lived as a Shawnee until age 21, and knew every native village and how a warrior thought. He tried to tell St Claire and he was ignored, and St Claire was soundly defeated. General Anthony Wayne heeded his advice and was victorious. Then Captain Sparks led a company of riflemen (snipers/best shots) as was Capt Meriwether Lewis. They were close, and Lewis wanted Sparks for Corp discovery, but Sparks had just been married to the daughter of the infamous John Sevier, hugonaut and first Governor of Tennessee and one of the leaders of the over mountain Boys at Kings Mountain victory over the British and Tories in the Revolution and Sparks didn't think it a prudent time to leave behind a new wife. He was adopted by the father of Tecumseh and raised as an older brother of the famed Shawnee warrior.

I’m floored there aren’t thousands of people watching this channel. It does seem more history than travel but always interesting.

Thank you for the history lesson. I didn't know anything about the struggle over Ohio. Sadly it looks like the upper west section of Ohio was eventually taken from the confederation as well.

As I recall, there are no Indian lands left in Ohio.
