The Battle of Flowers in Laredo, Cantabria, Spain 

The Battle of Flowers is the Festival of National Tourist Interest.
On the last Friday of August thousands of visitors attend the Parade of Floats.
The flowers used for the decoration of the floats are dahlias, chrysanthemums and marigolds.
According to the rules and conventions of the Battle of Flowers, the flowers must cover most of the surface of the floats. Each of the floats can carry around 100,000 flowers.
