It’s good to see Leif and Thorfinn together again. That scene of Arnheid traveling through the forest was so sad, it reminded me of some of the AoT metaphors we’ve seen. Looks like next episode Canute will be going up against Thorgil, let’s see if he’s up to it.

To be frank, I didn't love season 1 that much. I started watching season 2 to see what will be the changes in art and animation with Mappa. I think getting without any expectations into this season got me in the best mindset to really enjoy this show. Without realizing it got me hooked, made me love the characters (old and new) and made really invested in the plot. I really glad I decided to watch this.

The same people who complain about side characters getting the focus are the same ones complaining about side characters not getting any focus in anime like Naruto, bleach etc. They just love complaining about everything

for someone who spent his entire childhood in violence, living on the battlefield for someone who understands a fight capable of killing others trying not to use violence throughout life is a very difficult thing he could use violence but chose not to do so this is the way of the true warrior "he has no enemies" because no one has the right to accept violence a true warrior does not need a sword

Shoutout to your guy's reactions on S1, I would have never heard about Vinland Saga, it's now probably my favorite story of all time... Next ones gonna be bloody

I thought the stag and wolf standing next to each other was a strange choice, but didnt connect those two to Einar & Thorfinn😯

The idea of saying "I hope Einar goes back and kills Ketil" after watching both of these seasons of Vinland Saga feels completely tone deaf. Doesn't matter how you feel about Ketil, nobody gets anything out of that. It wouldn't bring Arnheid back from death, it wont make Einar feel better in the long run, and Thorfinn would hate to see any death caused by anger, especially for revenge. It's a horrible, pointless idea in basically every way, and the show is trying to make that clear every episode. I don't know how people can love and praise Vinland so much, but then just lapse and turn on a dime to ignore it's message so easily just for some kind of pay back.
