My great-great-grandfather, Thomas Egan, 1st MO Cavalry, Union, was injured at Prairie Grove when his horse was shot and he fell and his carbine broke his arm. I appreciate the descriptions of carbine rifles in this film.
The Springfield rifle was a M1903, the Enfield was a Mk3, both ww1 era, the Sharps was actually a Spencer carbine which was used in the war. As was the Sharps but it was a breech loading single shot! The weapons expert wasn't even close!
