The Battle of The New Stadiums (Bernabéu vs. Camp Nou) 

Since I support Barcelona I prefer the Camp Nou but it is good to hear that its currently undergoing renovations. Can't wait to see the new Camp Nou

The thing is Barcelona is primarily remodeling because Camp Nou was so outdated. I visited the stadium in 2021 before the renovations started and the stadium was kind of a dump. Tiny concourses leading to long wait times, crumbling concrete, bird poop everywhere and aging infrastructure made it absolutely necessary to innovate.

I support Barcelona, but I am also an urban planner and believe that the New Bernabeu design is amazingly well-thought. It builds upon the advantages of its location and tackles the challenges related to that in a clever way. The engineering of the field going underground is also mind-blowing and genuinely innovative. That said, I also like the redevelopment of Camp Nou, but the task there is less complex from an urban point of view because Camp Now is isolated from the urban fabric. From an engineering standpoint, I cannot fairly compare since I am not a specialist. It's good to see that Barcelona sticks to its legacy, while despite generating revenues, turning your stadium into a mall can back-lashes somehow. Both stadiums will provide great experiences for fans and attendees, so I am really looking forward to visiting them in their new appearances after I did this in the past. I should say that both stadiums gave me the impression of being outdated when I visited them.

These two stadiums have their own advantages, the Bernabeu with its futuristic, and Camp Nou with its large capacity🥰

One might be going futuristic, but the other is maintaining part of their identity and history. Not completely re building the entire Camp Nou into a Space Ship, its at least keeping some part of its original stadium in some capacity

No retractable roof, no full 360 screens or removable pitch for Camp Nou , and the entire ESPAI project is in serius jeopardy righ now. Forget about underground parking, dedicated subway station or underground railway from the irport to rhe stadium as Bernabeu is doing

the Santiago Bernabeu is now the best stadium in the world there is no competition, I went to the Allegiant Stadium home of the Las Vegas Raiders and thought nothing will beat this but think the Bernabeu will top it and cant wait to go visit to compare.

There is no battle, there is a triumphal parade at the Bernabeu.

Both stadiums, in my opinion, are historic due to their incredible features, concepts, and designs.

Both are good, remember guys engineering is not easy. You should admire how engineering work guys.

The Bernaleo is defenetly a groundbreaking stadium with this brand new system of removable football field but it looks a bit too much to a spaceship 🚀. On the other hand Espai Barça is a gorgeous place with more personality especially with those 3 layers of terrace

Two things. You show a lot of renders of the Camp Nou that don't belong to the definitive project. And you show a lot of renders of the Bernabéu when the stadium is practically finished. Why to keep showing so many times how the Bernabéu was meant to be instead of showing how it actually is? The outer shell, for instance, is far from looking like in the renders.

Nou Camp will be a worldwide reference. Real Madrid always the second challenger.

This is not a ven a comparison lol. Cam nou was almost in ruins, they just made the stadium bigger and look more modern. Santiago Bernabéu has a planned strategy to be the best stadium in the world, with top tier technology and better planned for other events like concerts and NBA.
