1. Herpes Zoster Ophthalmicus 2. a. Periorbital edema b. Painful vesicles around eye and nose c. Tingling sensation at affected side 3. Previous history of chicken pox infection and reactivation of Varicella Zoster Virus 4. Postherpetic neuralgia , Conjuntivitis , Ptosis
I have thought about this too and cranial nerve III also does cause ptosis cause it’s innervation of the levator palpebral superioris muscle so does cranial nerve 7 as it weakening the orbicularis oculi and also causes varying degrees of ptosis
