Born "Dennis Wilson" in Hawthorne California in 1944, he was the middle brother of the Wilson trio, and the drummer of the "sound of California," "The Beach Boys". As a teenager, Dennis became enamored with cars and the surfing scene. This would inspire Dennis' suggestion, that the band capitalize on what would become a national phenomenon: Surf rock, and car songs. At the forefront of the 1960s hot rod craze, the band built their image around muscle machines and tasty waves. With Beach Boys songs such as Little Deuce Coupe, Surfin USA, Good Vibrations, California Girls, Fun fun Fun, 409, I Get Around, and many more. Dennis Wilson was "THE" Beach Boy of the group, as the only member who knew how to surf, and loved racing cars. And he would go on to own some world class sporty and exotic automobiles. Today, we're taking a look at the car collection of the "real" Beach Boy, Dennis Wilson. Let's begin.
