Hi Tony, cogden was always my favourite beach for the early run of spring plaice. Blow lug seemed to be top bait. At least you didn't blank. Cheers and tight lines.
hiya nick how you doing mate . talking to the locals yesterday they were saying nothing is around at the moment the trawlers are up and down all the time bless em . i might do a bit of plaice and dab fishing this year . take care nick mate

hiya mate , hope your good chap. i do fish the big beach sometimes had some nice fish there over the years but i do prefere wading in the mud on the bristol channel mate . i wont be working to hard mate lol , take care chap
Hi Tony, glad you enjoyed your few hours on chesil, and yes that f.....n trawler from west bay is a f....n nightmare it's killing the fishing I live locally and you won't see a fish if that twat has been up and down scraping the bottom to oblivion trust me...

West Bay trawling is a bane. Day or night and they come along 600 metres off the shoreline and you wonder about the lack of fish out there. Best fish the dragon's teeth and eastwards to Portland with deeper water close in😮
