The Circe from mythology is something like a witch and knows her way around crafting mysterios potions, so I like that this Circe's room is just above the kitchen. Maybe that kitchen is not actually for cooking food, so upstairs she can always watch over whatever weird drinks she's boiling and secretly storing in that normal-looking pantry.
oh i can totally relate to the constant need to feed the machine that is social media. even though it's just a hobby, it's so easy to compare your output to people who dedicate their lives to youtube. despite all of that, i think you're doing quite well! don't burn yourself out because we'll always be here to enjoy ur content!
thank you for your encouragement! I had a switch in mentality a few years back after I got burnt out with my art account. Now I truly do these "side quests" in life just because I love it, I've dropped all expectations. Everything else is a bonus that makes it more enjoyable.
I love your change of baseline of the house including the walls, windows, doors, everything including the backyard. I love the use of TS4 objects and colors in TS2. It just fits so well and so aesthetically pleasing 💕
omg I love this makeover, maybe my favourite of the Beaker mansion I've seen, it's absolutely beautiful! I love how you came up with a backstory for it that tied all the different elements together and had Loki being more historical and Circe being more modern & minimalist - makes so much sense! also love that you kept the original "spirit" of the build while improving the floorplan, adding those more modern/sciencey elements and making it your own style. Circe having her own seperate room was a cool idea, they are rich enough and I can totally see her as someone who likes her own space sometimes, if I was rich I might do that too lol! The security camera outside was a fun touch too, haha. Really cool!! also enjoyed your ramble about life & your journey as a creator, I relate to a lot of what you are saying :) there is just never enough time for simming it feels!
I like the result! The brick walls are called "University walls" because I made them for a university subhood. They are mostly a mixture of textures from other ts2 walls (Maxis and custom), nothing from ts4. I'm glad they were useful.
I LOVE the modern twist to this castle/fortress! It definitely has that crumbling and rebuilt aesthetic which feels so on brand to the Beakers. I never thought about the fact Nervous was living in an old indoor pool. That makes so much sense - and I love your theory based off the Bachelor kind of guy living there before!! Also are those deco lights for the wall on your Pinterest!? I used to have them a couple of years ago and I was obsessed with them but I lost them in a great corruption clean out 😭 Great video!! ❤️

I'm a little late but I love what you did with this renovation! I also struggled with figuring out what to do with this build in my own Strangetown but again you did an fantastic job. Can't wait for you to start renovating Veronaville, it's probably my favourite sims 2 neighbourhood!

I hope we get to see them played 😊 also I haven't really paid attention to Veronaville either, I was thinking of starting a playthrough there where I make my own sims that are background characters to the premades which are ageless since they're the main characters in an ever-looping play, and just play like normal since I'm not that good of a builder to make a custom 'hood 😂, tho I've downloaded a lot of stuff from your build & buy video and I'm having fun decorating 🎉 see ya, take care!
Your Beaker mansion is STUNNING, madam😩💕✨🫶 AND YES the Beaker mansion took me nearly a week to renovate (coming home about 5:00pm and working on it until 8:30pm, 5-6 days). The layout is atrocious and there is SO MUCH wasted space in this home. I am a couple of generations into the Beaker home by now, but their home definitely remains a mystery to me (old timey, elegant, rustic, bricks & stone, marble this-and-thats, science junk here and there, etc). I backed up this mansion the moment I finished it. If my game ever crashed and I lost everything, the Beaker mansion would be the most disappointing loss for me🥲 Also, don’t ever feel like you need to continue to keep doing all of this for us. It’s hard being a content creator and your personal life is far more important than any game. Any upload from you is a treat💕 Always look forward to your vids🫶
Oh my bedroom is right by the kitchen! It's the only room upstairs over the garage and the stairs come right off the kitchen by the stove, no less! Whenever my brother cooks, I get a nose full even if my door is closed lol

I actually always had a problem with this family in general, because their story feels way too adult for this game? Especially Circe's. I usually just leave them to do whatever boring stuff and focus on their kid, which is kinda sad because i feels like wasted potential.

7 hours?? Damn. It turned out amazing though. I didn't think the place could look so good while still maintaining the castley vibe. i've had that camera spinning bug happen to me a few times lol. ooh what is that picture frame mod? at 16:47. There's so much nice cc i feel like i need to go on a downloading spree again oh no. But really the lot looks so good, i might actually renovate mine finally lmao, I've just left them living in a partially demolished house, looking forward to seeing the strangetown part of the let's play.
