The guy who ran into Syd was the head chef at Terry's (Olivia Coleman) restaurant 'EVER' from 2x07 Forks. He's the one who was trying to find out who caused the smudge and said "Fuck You, Garret". We also saw him in the 3x01 flashbacks working there alongside Carmy & luca.
5:36 This guy is the actual owner of The Beef which this show is based on. He is the son of the founder, and a friend of showrunner Christopher Storer.
That’s always bothered me about him throughout the years and it happens SO often. Idk what’s so bad about saying you think something or maybe it’s like this. But I guess he wants to feel like the most knowledgeable person alive.
@@yaboyrams9500 How'd they spoil it? The big twist in the trailer is what I assume you're referring too but that's not a spoiler that's just the premise of the film
My least favorite I think. He did not seem or look like a Fak. Dave Bautista would have been the better wrestler turned actor for the part. Looks and talent.
In Canada we have a chain called Bulk Barn that sounds like what you are talking about with Food4Less. The majority of the store is in bulk bins that you scoop out the amount you want. It is great for getting the exact amount of baking ingredients if you rarely bake. But I've mostly used it to get large amounts of candy and other snack food.
It would probably be from Black Lightning that they recognize him, but I’m sure they forgot about that. He was only in the episodes. They probably haven’t seen his movies or his show.
They teased his hand wound in the Season premiere. When Sugar called him and told him about Mikey, he stared at a pot on the fire. My guess is he grabbed it on purpose.
not sure if this has any connection but in the beginning of the season 1 finale in carmy's dream kitchen show thing, he burns his hand really bad on the pot - don't know if that was a flash to something that happened in carmy's real life but it was a weird detail to focus on for no reason otherwise
Loved your reaction as always. You should check out society of the snow. It's a great movie and I would love to hear what you have to say about that one. If you do watch it I recommend the original language with subtitles, the acting was amazing
When it was big, the science/nutrition community had decided that butter is terrible and these substitutes like margarine and "vegetable oil spread" (Country Crock) were better for us. Now they have changed their mind, or at least decided that they're all bad, so we might as well use real butter, because it tastes better.
Well, yeah….. but they “changed their minds” because that’s where the new data led them. Science! Every time you find new facts it should make you rethink your views. 😊
4:18 I hate the Faks more in this moment than I hated both Ritchie and Tina in the first 4 episodes of the series. They KNOW Carmy has anxiety and stress problems but they thought that putting the faces of all the people in Chicago who could bring down this restaurant, his life’s work, with one bad review. If I were Carmy in that moment I would smack the shit out of them, open hand, with heavy rings on each finger.
ehhh, Carmy doesn’t always go in there. He works in the kitchen and can’t really see the front of house. That’s more for Richie’s staff and Nat, and his reaction to anxiety (given his history) is totally normal. But he needs to not let that get in the way
It's the sort of gesture Carmy appreciates on an intellectual level, because he's obsessed with gaining the edge and being ahead of things. But in this case his psychology let him down. He probably would have endorsed the idea without realising how his gut would react.
I’m glad to hear it. I wasn’t sure so I tried to watch my words carefully. I just didn’t want a third party reader to assume an anti-science sentiment.
