I encountered one of these dancing bears a few months ago. I froze. An eerie silence was followed by a desire to drink my last bottle of Guinness. Slowly I twisted the cap, the bubbles fizzed loudly. The bear began to slowly rub his huge back on the tree, as I approached, I put the bottle into his giant paw. He drank it in one gulp....grabbed my iPad and RU-vidd an Irish jig. Well we danced and jigged for 30 minutes. He told me He was Irish, and I believed him. He then fell over singing Danny Boy...I ran as fast as my boots could go, tripping over leprechauns as I jumped into my car. Trembling, I opened a nice cold Guinness, drank it slowly, then the next one, and the next one, and so on, till I was surrounded by pink bears all rubbing their backs on my car.
I was once trying to fall asleep in a tent in Mount Shasta, California and I heard bears walking through the campground. There must have been a mom with cubs because I heard big bear noises and little bear noises. The little bears were scampering all over our camp but they followed momma bear to the dumpster there, I think. They sounded so cute. I was afraid to look out of my tent so I didn't actually see them but I'm sure I heard bears.
I gotta say, bears are my worst fear and I absolutely hate that Jungle Boogie song. With that being said, thanks for documenting this meme, it was great.

Khananaskis country in Alberta Canada is a hot spot for Hollywood filmmaking for example Broke Back Mountain and RVing with Robin Williams just to mention a few. It's a gorgeous area.
I live in western part of Canada. These bears will kill you if they are or feel threatened. They are not cuddly teddy bears like this video portrays. The day this guy almost stepped over one it was a one in a million chance that he was not harmed. These bears are equipped to kill and that is how the survive amongst other bears, wolf packs, and people. The movie Revenent was filmed in Alberta. Remember what the bear encounter was like for Leonardo. It has happened many times. I new of a brick layer that went hunting with his son in British Columbia. The next following week he was asked why his son was not at work. A Grizzly killed him. They are magnificent and majestic creatures that are best to be observed from a far...
