@yoonji you think I misspelled it? Oh God!!! I spelled it the way George used to pronounce it...He had a way of pronouncing some words and it was cute...
sad that, i’m guessing that the year there is ‘64, they’ll start drifting apart just 2 years later ;( edit: but that doesn’t mean they stopped being friends after breaking up. as george said, “all things must pass”. the beatles have given us enough music to remember them even after 50 years.
Yeah that is cute....but did you catch the interviewer almost telling him off for saying that, by saying "nobody likes a smart Alec!"..... I love how George and John were always involved in banter, like siblings. Infact I'm pretty sure John described George as his little brother.
Ah, yes - and it reminds me of the scene in the promo/taster (or whatever its called) for the new Peter Jackson Get Back/Let it Be movie, where John does that funny little hopping around thing with his knees tucked up inside his Tshirt... one of the best parts of the promo, IMO, and if it had been out when this video was made, it would have definitely deserved a place amongst Beatles funniest moments. Also the scene where John and Paul are smiling and singing through gritted teeth - hilarious! It's so good to see they were still having fun even as late as that, despite the rather gloomy presentation of the sessions that Lindsay-Hogg created. I hope the new movie will be more balanced, between the fun and friendship, and the tensions amongst the fab four at that time.
I love how people are like “oh yeah they’re so high” and sometimes obv they were, but really they were just deeply weird people, and I’m here for all of it
5:03 I will always love this clip. I don’t know but I feel like the lady is trying to act very elegant and soft so she can make John and Paul fall in love with her 😂 (Which she is beautiful btw)
