No autotune, no computer sounds, just their voice and guitar/bass/drum. That's music. Yes, I hear pop music nowadays but I admit THIS is authentic. Never can get enough of The Beatles!!
One of the things that made the Beatles so great is that there was no lead singer. There are just so many bands with one person singing ALL of the songs. Amazing, on this song you have Paul McCartney on background vocals. The Beatles just had so many weapons. This is just one of many reasons why the Beatles were perfectly balanced as a group.
@Euford King. What @Cass Ness meant, was that there was no lead or primary singer for all of their songs. One of their great strengths was that they had 3 who could sing the lead. Sorry Ringo(but he knows that!) 🙂
Euford King John was the face of the band 1962-1965, where he fell off in creative control during Sargent pepper, and Paul took the lead after that. By the end, they all had their own songs in a way
Sometimes they’re so good and the part they played in one’s life so key they make you burst into tears of joy for how great they were and sadness knowing that they’re gone.
I have always liked Ringo's drumming with the Beatles, ever since the mid-1960's. It still feels strange to me that it's been almost 60 years since then. But the Beatles will, I think, always be my top favorite.

One of my favorite Beatles songs of all time. I love how John messes up and keeps going flawlessly rather than pulling a Michael Bay. He knows he's a badass like that, and so does everyone else.
I,m old now this makes me feel young again for a few moments,missed seeing them by a whisker they were supporting Tom Jones at my local cinema think they were The Silver Beatles,gave it a miss.When they broke all the girls argued over which one was best but us boys just rocked to it.
They didn't had monitors,computers,facebook,twitter,play back,they perfumes... But still they won all fans over the world and they were best singer ever!
It gets to show that The Beatles were not simply a teenage sensation. They were for REAL! This is one song when they started to open up lyrically. They developed so quickly, it adds to their greatness.
This is the BEST that John Lennon sang this song. His voice was just so perfect! The way he would sing one word and go down 3 notes hanging onto that word. Only John Lennon like this. "Help me if you can I'm feelin' dow-how-owwn, and I do appreciate your bein' row-ow-ownd." EXCELLENT!

heard this the other day on the radio and was blown away, john's lead vocals, the brilliant lyrics, harmonies of george and paul, the instruments playing brilliantly off each other, ringo's cymbal ride on the chorus, the vocal break, and those descending bridges… a master piece that's as good today as it was 53 years ago.

Even 50 years after they started the Beatles are still moving people breaching the generation gap and bringing us all together to listen to amazing music. Long live the Beatles, and RIP John Lennon You are missed.

(Sadly) John was shot by a deranged fan in New York in Dec.1980 and George was killed by some kind of cancer still, Ringo and Paul are living legends and will always be remembered for their great music!
All the members of the BEATLES were important, but they would have been nothing without John Lennon. He was the glue with this band in my opinion. That voice, his look and style, he was great.
I never paid attention before to the way the backing vocals lead into the lead vocal line. Funny how you can hear a song so many times and not catch something like that.
***** Young people will always love good music, but Beatlemania can not be repeated! ... It was hysteria, a sort of intoxication and madness, something really difficult to explain, especially for repeat ... The Beatles were one simply a musical prodigy!
