Brilliant tutorial,you covered everything. In 1960 to 1962 I use to go to the lunchtime sessions at the cavern in Liverpool. And the casbah , Pete best’s mother s house in west derby .they started here before the cavern days . They will never be equalled in my opinion.

Great Lesson, I nailed this in about 20 mins thanks to this video ( truth is I had already worked out some of it, but there were a few chords missing I couldn’t quite seem to find). 😊

Ok, is it physically possible to play the FMaj7 with your thumb and have the high E string ring open? Seems like when I add the thumb, my palm always runs into the bottom string and mutes it.

Yes, you can see me doing it in the video! You really only need a tiny little bit of flesh from your thumb to grab that low F note :)

Most people get that. thumb over low E which tends to get the palm on edge muting the high E I find best to angle palm abit or hold chord more looser .I never get as hands are big very long fingers .but I get what your saying .

I add abit of variation on the Em.1 add high E string on 3 fret few strums to the high E on second fret back to the 3rd fret when transitioning to Am .

That's how it is . The guy does the work the vid .then editing the vid then doing the tab and uploading it's a lot of work . And you can get off him for the price of a coffee .that's a good deal .

Nope! It’s possible they were tuned down a half step which would account for the capo on 1st fret

Em/G and G6 (Em7/G) are basically the same chord - two different names - same sound.

Em7 (E G B D) with G in the bass is G6 (G B D E) - same notes, different name. This lesson aims to be easy, but even if it didn’t, I’d still use this chord.
